The_Villager If I used that same excuse with Nintendo, how long would it take before you tried tearing a whole in it? Many Nintendo games bore me due to there puzzle or platformer nature, that is why I don't like most of the repetitive games Nintendo bring out that look like HD versions of older games.
Most consoles have a big genre they fill well, Nintendo are more platformers and the like, PS & Xbox cater for more Action & FPS, while PC is left with great RPG...
Hi KonsoruMasuta, Pikmin last time I checked was part of a series, though I admit they haven't milked it as much as some of there other IP's.
Also true on your last remark.
Realplaya, yes third party is a problem, getting them involved seems to have been an issue for Nintendo and support is now wailing. What I'd like to see is more ports of games to the Wii U that use the pad in a unique way.
Chrischi1988, sorry but I didn't e...
Hi Chrischi1988,
No the PS4 isn't a huge leap in tech, but at least it and the Xbox One do have some original, or at least fresh games on the horizon.
Knack, The Crew, Destiny, The Division, Mad Max, Project Spark, Ryse, Titanfall, Deep Down, Drive Club, Octodad, The Order 1866.
Would you like me to continue?
I purposely chose new IP's and not sequels and as you requested, (because obviously a game like a movie would ...
Considering that is the only part of Online I've managed to get too, I thought it was kinda cool.
Very different to the usual character creator.
Look at the review carefully, it looks like someone's just taken information released about GTA Online and plonked it into a review. Nothing personal about it at all.
This isn't a review, just an attention grabber.
They may take pride in there games, that may also relate to them spending more time on development, which I have no problem too. The problem is where is everything else.
All I see are old Nintendo games brought back to life... Again!
I think Nintendo thinks it's still 1990, they can release a couple first party games and everybody will love them. Sorry Nintendo, gamers grow up and require new and more unique experiences. Not the same Mario game released o...
Can't agree with that enough. That's also probably why Nintendo haven't had any new IP's for a long while.
From what I've seen of the Wii U, it looks semi-decent. The problem with anybody going to pick one up, is where are the new and unique games. You think, yeah that console looks decent, now what can I play on the system that I haven't played before. Hmm.. Zombie U... and... oh good lord where is the rest?
Hey Kryptonite42O,
Glad to not disappoint. Mostly it is the parents fault but you have to admit, the game is everywhere. Considering its an 18 I would specially have put adverts beyond the watershed time, yet I'm sure I've seen them running during the day. (Might be me imagining things.)
Can't help but notice the billboard ads everywhere. Lets face it, advertise candy in a kids face and they're going to want it even more. GTA didn't need t...
Cheers. To be honest I was little worried it might get shot down early on, I know a lot of younger gamers use this site so I thought it was a risk.
I think COD is going to have to actually work to crack that record, instead of lounging about expecting people to pick up another rehashed game.
Anyway, I second the Guinness World Record hold as I can see GTA's lead climbing even higher.
I wonder how many of us picked it up just for online?
Agreed, at least that is what I think of when I think Free To Play.
A demo?
I'm not so sure there obvious, the industry as a whole is rather fuzzy when it comes to F2P. Which is why I asked the question.
If your assessment of what a F2P title is than surely every demo is a F2P game?
I can try an demo for free, get access to parts of the game for free and even complete certain sections of that game for free. Is that really F2P?
Your last comment is to do with real F2P games, Tekken & PVZ2 both work and play by...
Well fsfsxii, I'm sorry to hear that. Guess you have plenty of time to try something new though, always a bright side to everything.
I agree with COD, though AC has been good over the years. Could probably do with a year or two gap though.
Just think of some of the other great games, Watch Dogs, Beyond Two Souls, Metal Gear Solid 5, Knack, Spark. Has to be something your looking forward too?
To be honest, I'm dreading it.
Though we run AGR as a small team of passionate geeks and gamers, we only have so much spare time to put towards our favourite hobbies.
This time of the year is my dreaded nightmare because of the huge surge of fantastic games all coming out in quick succession. What makes things worse is the next gen hitting at the same time.
So, good for sales, good for gamers with huge amounts of time on there hands, awfu...
20 maybe? I used to love these games up until XIII, now I just laugh as they try and keep the same game going.
And how many hours until does it take to get to the good part?
Guess we can never get away from the dreaded U-play. Thanks for pointing that one out.
I'm sure the game will get funded, you'll get the chance to buy it once its out and complete.
