So the more games a console has, makes it the better console? Well it gives you plenty to play but sometimes quantity over quality can really suck.
I agree with Kyosuke about complaining, business men only listen to the sound of money being flicked in thousand pound wads. Games are a luxury that many people enjoy. So is breathing, would you not complain if someone tainted your air with foul smells that made you queasy and then asked to you pay for the benefit. I think you would.
P.s, I never shouted about EA devs, some of them are very hardworking groups. What most people hate here is EA themselves and their business pra...
I agree that many of their AAA line up sell well but lets have a look at why, shall we. Sports games are monopolized by EA thanks to several back hand deals.
Over the last 15 years they've bought some of the most creative studios to ever develop games and turned the majority of the big names into crap. Command and Conquer is a prime example.
And like many above have said, they copied Steam in the digital business but then messed it up. They have issues wi...
Fair enough. Having respect for your favourite company isn't bad, but what I and many others here in the comments is that EA have some seriously bad practices that harm the games industry as a whole.
I also take your comment about second hand games personally. Not everyone can always afford a brand new copy of a game and until developers/publishers themselves reduce the prices of their older software catalogue so many of their customers can get the game new for say half o...
I doubt it. Consoles sorely lack RTS/TBS games because they have to base the controls around a controller. Until something replaces a controller with a more intimate input device, consoles will not get many more of these games in the future. Civ Rev was one of the few TBS's that did well on consoles, it controlled well and played well due to being simplified. Supreme commander as far as I know failed miserably on consoles, C&C was a pain to control especially as they've speed the ...
Too true. It seems the wealthy countries import while the poor manufacture. I wonder what that reminds me off? Rome anyone!
Maybe he had just meant that making games held no or little interest in him any more. Maybe he just needs some time to recharge.
I'm not sure whether what he says is true about EA but I can take it on board. It doesn't make me like EA any more then I did though, they still have dodgy practices and ruin IP's on a daily basis. Till they stop being so money grubbing and cease the use of horrible forms of DRM and in game purchases my faith and my money will be else wa...
Wow, as an on and off PS Plus member, I didn't know this. Cheers for the informative article.
Yeah I know. Almost like a step backwards rather then forwards. Being in a building when you heard those creaking sounds was so cool, just before it was going down. You knew you had to get out. Nothing like that in BF3, though the rest of BF3 is a much better game.
Bring on the destruction engine! The only thing that was needed in BF3 to make it almost perfect was for it to have more buildings collapsing and tanks driving through walls as shortcuts.
How could it damage Arma 3's reputation?
Fair enough, it used to be that you could borrow a game off your mate and try it out first but that has almost disappeared with so many codes on games and the second hand market starting to disappear.
I know that user's scores reveal this information but shorley so should the bigger paid sites. After all they get paid the big bucks to tell the truth supposedly. The majority of the sites give all three higher then average reviews and so doesn't inform the customer correctly. Thanks for the more detailed info.
Agree, as long as people have bought the game I don't see why those same people can't play the craked version instead. A nice side swipe at EA. XD
I would love some Total Warhammer after the last couple games sucked from the Warhammer universe.
Very good article. Worth a read for any gamer.
Check back now. We've added a Nintendo option.
Yes but at what cost?
There is a reason for consoles. There cheaper while also providing a much easier interface for the masses to interact with. Thus next gen for the console cycle.
That's coming from a massive pc gamer myself.
Hi Qrphe, sorry to hear my writing isn't up to your standard. If I missed something out or the article wasn't to your liking maybe you could enlighten me?
Also please don't judge the website by my writing, we are a collection of people who write for the website.
Kirbyu, I will mention that to our boss and see if we can get the Wii U on there for you. Its only really for what has yet to come out but I suppose it could be used for next gen in genera...
I keep looking at this and wondering whether it will be any good. Anybody here played the game yet? If so, is it anything like Xcom or is it a different spin on the game?
