Comparing to 4 would be best being it’s the previous generation and was hugely successful.
Switch 2 is the first Nintendo console I haven’t bought day 1 in 20 years. I’m not paying £70 for games, it really is that simple. I say this as someone with a cupboard full of maybe 40 switch games.

Even as Xbox dissolve into a third party morass, I still find myself not wanting their games. It’s a combination of not wanting to give them money combined with their horrific insistence on having me sign in before I can play the game I just paid them for.

Guess what, all games will use AI for certain assets going forward. That model for a bottle of shampoo in the bathroom of a game…well it used to come from a generic library of assets (not the junior artist as people say) but now you generate the texture for it from AI. It’s not a big deal.
