No you can't say that about playstation. Playstation has exclusive games, xbox does not.
At this point it's obvious that there will not be another xbox. This gen has been a total disaster for them and they are not in a position to improve as they are now a third party publisher. Any new console is doomed to be a complete failure, there is no logical way it could do any better than the current ones.
I feel exactly the same. All of a sudden there doesn't seem to be a point to consoles anymore.
Why would you even consider buying it? PC has more performance (if you want to pay) and Playstation has more games. What could xbox offer since they went third party?
The only reason i think it isn't DOA is because it will never arrive, Microsoft already quit the hardware business, they just haven't announced it yet.

The drive will be nonstandard and because of that 75% of games will be digital only. They will kill the second hand market and then you will pay full rrp for most games. It’s obviously their plan.

I don't think it is unreasonable to form an opinion around the concept (live service) and trailer. Especially given Sony's direction of travel in the past few years.
For the past decade, I have never heard Killzone mentioned anywhere except n4g. Its a dead franchise which no one remembers. It was also rubbish.

Capcom's willingness to invest in experiments and scrap them sets them apart form many other developers (Nintendo have a similar methodology). Far too often companies push a game setting or game mechanic that is just not that good and the final product is middling or poor.
