Even as Xbox dissolve into a third party morass, I still find myself not wanting their games. It’s a combination of not wanting to give them money combined with their horrific insistence on having me sign in before I can play the game I just paid them for.

The down voters of the above comment have zero clue about how game development works.
Guess what, all games will use AI for certain assets going forward. That model for a bottle of shampoo in the bathroom of a game…well it used to come from a generic library of assets (not the junior artist as people say) but now you generate the texture for it from AI. It’s not a big deal.
I guess I thought massively downvoting a respectful post about someone who just died in a horrible way was rather suspicious as people have more respect. But maybe I’m wrong, lots of absolute scumbags out there who will happily laugh at this…world’s a messed up place.

At this point I wouldn’t discount the possibility of the Genesis / mega drive catching up and beating Xbox.

I would imagine many people follow a pattern similar to what I do - stick new titles on the wish list and wait for 50-90% discount in a future sale.
Over the past few years, the industry has been so bad at releasing titles I would consider ’must have’ that I have zero problem waiting for a heavy discount on a game I am interested in.
