The devs doing this just show their lack of understanding of the genre. This is why their games are mere facsimiles of From’s titles.
Souls games do have difficulty options but they are part of the gameplay itself. Overlevel, and careful avoidance of risk taking is the easy mode.
Each to their own but I would never buy a souls like game with a baked in easy mode.

For a game of this scope and production cost, it’s $30 max. I simply will not bite above that.
And again, I love Disgaea.
I love Disgaea but they are high if they think it’s a $70 game.
The industry will collapse at these stupid price points.
It’s not about what you lose by releasing game X on another platform. It’s about losing brand value over the long term when people realise your games are no longer exclusive. It would be madness to devalue the brand in this way imo.
Remember GP operating costs will be eye wateringly high.

I think there is a 75% chance there will not be another Xbox. There is zero reason to buy one now. No way it can possibly sell more than 10m units after Xbox went third party.
I didn’t like what I heard about the heavy handed trans / woke dialogue plus it’s an EA game so I didn’t buy it. Vote with my wallet.

They have a ton of sales on pc. I’ve rebought most res evil titles on pc just because they were mega cheap. I bought res 6 ( which is shit but my son was curious) for £2.80 yesterday. So units sold is not necessarily the best indicator here.
