It’s a minor win. Let’s face it Xbox have had less than 10 titles that are genuinely good in the past decade.
It’s a win in that Activision games won’t become Xbox exclusive I guess. But they never were so it’s hard to feel that benefit.
You will not be able to see any difference anyway. The pointless remaster train has gone too far now. These are low effort cash grabs by Sony because they have no new first party games coming for years. It’s time they were called out on it.
Only on N4G is it not acknowledged the total and complete disaster that the ps3 was. The SDF mentality is crazy.
The PS3 hardware was an abortion, every single developer hated it. To be fair the PS2 was also awful but devs had no choice then as it was the only game in town. There’s a reason the 360 was the lead platform for 90% of games that gen.
Sony were also a horrible company to deal with at the time. They had extremely limited code examples which w...
This is what happens when there is no competition. Everyone seems to forget the hubris shown by Sony during the ps3 era.
They absolutely will do that from now on. Their numbers are so bent it’s laughable.
Since Sony only started scrambling to make some single player content in the past few months, i expect them to be showing mostly 3rd party stuff, some quick and easy remasters that they can turn around in 12 months and then some non-gameplay footage of the games people actually want that will end up being cross gen ps6 games and release in late 2027.
They absolutely are counting every phone that opens candy crush in their bent & meaningless ‘engagement’ numbers.
They are going to sell fewer this year. GP has never taken off like Xbox wanted it to and there is now no reason to own an Xbox beyond a GP machine.
The big question now is ‘at what point would Microsoft consider GP a failure, kill it and pivot over to just being a game publisher?’
I think that point is closer than a lot of people realise, especially when you reverse the usual way of looking at things. A lot of those cheap GP subs can be converted into m...
I do agree with what you are saying but it's impossible to implement. a 20 year old PC title that has some small elements that cannot be mapped over to a pad simply cannot be patched to fix the problem. The steam deck solution of a soft kb and track pad do help quite a bit though.
The good news is that most new PC titles now will be thinking about steamdeck during development and will not contain these sorts of problems as we move forward.
This totally makes sense. Basically the same deal as a steamdeck (windows games running via proton, big screen mode UI) but with more horsepower. It would finally allow the PC to get into the living room.
I’m out if that’s the case. Also the lack of a drive did not lower the price.
I don’t understand why people are embracing console all digital. PC has great sales all the time but the psn store has games at close to rrp years after release. A game that can be had for sub £20 for physical at retail remains at £70 on psn. Why are people paying these prices?
If the drive doesn’t come as standard, I won’t buy. Also if first party output doesn’t drastically increase I won’t buy day one.
1. There is no need to pay $70 for a new game.
2. I can choose to buy a game when I want, not a direct debit taking money from me every month, even months when I’m not gaming.
3. Gamepass does not have even half the big titles released every year. It’s mostly dross.
4. GP prices continue to rise.
5. I own the games I buy.
I see almost zero value GP or any other subscription service.
It’s an interesting premise but I don’t think it could work. A tank has to be forward(ish) in order to fulfill their role. I play Zara frequently (pretty well imo) and she is one of the few tanks that sits back more. I can’t imagine a tank that sits back any further than her.
Literally every neo nazi group now thinks he supports them and they are loving it. This is a fact.
It would not be 'dancing to the drum of the media' to clarify the situation, it would simply be letting people know that he does not support genocide. There is never a bad time to do this. And yet he hasn't. Very strange.
But maga cult members like yourself are incapable of accepting simple facts if they could possibly make your low iq, lying, i...
He hasn’t denied it being a Nazi salute. He had every opportunity to denounce this ideology. Instead he chose to go and speak at a far right event and say they should not feel guilt over the holocaust.
Please, correct me when I’m wrong.
Explain why it wasn’t. Explain why my eyes are lying to me.
That’s laughably inaccurate.
