Maybe stop trying to force your political views on others?

The guy running that website (and active in the comments here) is always pushing an agenda. His articles are not to be trusted.

For example, Sony didn’t release any first party games this quarter so revenue is low anyway.

This guy is a fraud.

Every Digital foundry article is the same boring ass, dry, stat comparison that only weirdos, who don’t actually play the games they buy, obsess over. I’ve no idea why they have such a good reputation.

Hi Obscure, please use your main account it’s a lot more fun that way.

People like to ignore this inconvenient truth. The S actually saved Xbox.

Sony seem determined to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

It’s Trumps tariffs. Magas voted for tax rises now it’s time to pay them.

Downvotes for straight up facts. SMH.

Magas have pond scum levels of intelligence.

Revenue is vanity, profit is sanity.

They hide behind revenue numbers for a reason.

I think even Nintendo are in for a rude awakening.

£40 max for me and only then on very rare occasions. These companies can get bent with the high prices, i'll wait for the sale or skip their titles entirely.

Sabre are a good publisher, I tend to like their titles.

That’s his point though. Multiple store fronts generate competition. If the Sony store is the only game in town then all games are full rrp 95% of the time. With a SUPER sale (15% off) once or twice a year.

I’d say it’s a combination of declining interest in the franchise coupled with declining interest in the Ubisoft game design (which they have copy pasted into every game they’ve made for 20 years).

I’m not interested in DEI simulator 2.0.

Didn’t it come out that their studio was full of bigots on the end?

Quit your job so you don't lose your job...this is a special kind of stupid.

I think this is the beginning of Microsoft withdrawing from the game industry. They are not only firing people but also setting impossible targets for the Xbox division. Once those targets are missed they can close down large parts of it and sell the rest.

They will plough the money saved into AI which is a part of the industry where they could see some actual success…maybe.

There is zero evidence that AI is good enough to replace a seasoned developer yet.

If this ever happens it will be in at least another couple of years.

Feels like the hype is gone. My desire to play Mario kart is simply not what it used to be. Nintendo need to take some risks and start some new franchises.
