Xbox in no way ‘made $21bn last year’. The truth is that no one knows their profit / loss but it is highly likely that they have lost HUGE amounts of money every year for the past decade.
For reference, a GTX 1080 has 2560 CUDA cores, a 5090 is over 50,000 cuda cores vs switch 2 1536 cuda cores. The console must be wringing every last cycle out of that architecture for it to run modern games.

It’s just incredible that there are people who still want to argue that everything is just fine at Xbox. Like they haven’t seen the past decade of complete and utter failure. It’s just insane.
There probably won’t be another Xbox, why would anyone buy one at this point? The sales have completely collapsed and they’ve given in. GP now only has PC as a viable market and PC gamers aren’t going to be a huge user base for them as they all use steam and have access to frequent sales. Xbox is toast now, GP is toast soon.
Xbox is no longer their biggest earner, PlayStation is. So yeah GP is fading into obscurity because of that.

Absolutely. The PS3 was a total disaster and the 360 hit its stride at the perfect moment. That was Xbox’s chance right there and they fumbled it.
