Well they've started putting in the new heatsinks right? I would think those would help.
But if you don't have a repaired model w/ a heatsink this would be cool I'd say, as it doubles as a cool add on rather than just a red lights alerter. Of course it'd void the warranty I assume.
Are you talking about the Homeland security warning levels? "Orange mode, Red mode, Blue mode." Now that you mention it, that does come to mind.
Nazi sympathizer are you? Whatever, not going to pass judgement on you. But I will say there is no need for you to bring such a discussion into a site like this.
On such a computer, I'd load up every memory-hogging application I could just to see if there is any notable speed decrease.
Irrelevant, this article hardly concerns the PS3 and its abilities. It's talking about a supercomputer.
I think it looks pretty cool. Then again, I like LED mods.
(Good job on turning this article into a console flaming bicker.)
Oh and "stoled" isn't a word. Did you ever go to grade 2?
Edit: Haha, way to get riled up easily. But thank you for correcting the spelling error, that is all.
Hopefully you were joking. Because I did not realize the PS3 could upgrade itself internally, that is quite exceptional.
agree @ poG (assuming that this guy was being serious and not joking)
@above: no, it can't. You seem to confuse "upgrade" with "update." Edit: OK well yeah, that's true for all 3 consoles. (The Wii has firmware updates right? I've never witnessed the download of one myself but I would assume as such.)
This is just as useless a comment as nobiz's. And it has nothing to do with anything. Do you guys (360 and ps3 fanboys) not realize that you do/say the exact same crap, yet criticize each other for it? Hypocrisy and contradiction at their worst.
Edit: Nope, I didn't mean that. In this case, using "worst" to describe something negative is correct. Perhaps your grammar is flawed.
Regardless, I agree with seed under me. I've seen more useful comments from...
I do think you're being a little harsh on the system, but I will agree that there really isn't too much it offers that have a "wow" factor. Especially because of the PS2 sharing the same games.
I know what you're saying, downloading (illegal or not) is definitely more popular than CD purchasing. I'm just saying that it is likely there will always remain a large camp who buy discs, probably majority doing both (download/disc). So I think digital distribution will eventually come into play for HD content, but rather than "take over" the other formats, I'd say there's room for at least BD as the disc option.
Heh, no problem. Good discussion. (*adds to your alr...
There shouldn't be need to argue over which version of this game is better, as it is pretty crap altogether. Just played some of the demo...ugh
If you're talking about the Wii in 1080p, then no, as I'm quite happy playing natively in 1080p on the PS3 and (in the future) the 360ELITE.
What you say is true, but look at CDs -- I doubt they're leaving any time soon. I mean, look at music stores like HMV, they're doing quite fine. Besides, most of the digitally distributed music isn't legal anyhow. I would say, much in the same way music exists digitally and on disc, HD content could coexist both on BD and digitally.
"Unlike PSN XBox live subscribers pay for that bandwidth."
Exactly, hence the differences in the services. Live customers get what they pay for, PSN users get something lacking but albeit decent for it being free. I think it's a fair trade off. If I was paying for PSN, I'd sure as hell be complaining though. But that's not the case.
Oh alright. Then maybe the graphics can par up to Halo 2.
That and there's a good amount of adults buying/playing the Wii as well. Casual is a better word than kiddish. If Manhunt 2 sees light though, that'd be interesting. One of the most violent games on such an all-age welcoming console.
You really do not even base an argument for yourself. So you're saying the PS3 sucks, and no reason for this is needed?
Excellent. Logic isn't needed when you're a fanboy!
Generally an outlook of this regard is accompanied by, and likely fueled by, jealousy, uncertainty, and insecurity. Good job on revealing yourself.
@virus: haha thanks man
Perhaps, but the preview itself is new.
Hm, never heard of this title before, but it sounds like it could be a decent buy.
