Who really cares? The Wii U is getting some pretty damn awesome games. Plus it kind of looks like the wii U images were just lowere resolution jpgs zoomed in on so they look blurry.
I don't own a Wii U btw, but I'll say it again, there are SNES games that are better than 90% of the crap these days. Graphics / performance aren't that important.

A few criticisms of MS's campaign:
It's kind of built on BAD hype- people are anxious to know if a load of bad stuff about it is true, this is what's generating hype.

His point seems to be that games are largely designed with consoles in mind (since that's where the money is), and so the PC versions are only marginally better or the same. However this doesn't mean that current PCs aren't already capable of what we're going to see on the Ps4 and the Xbox- PCs are clearly held back by the console industry.
I mean, how could PCs NOT be more powerful machines than consoles? The technology in a PC is customisable, and more power...

The end of Shadow of the Colossus. I mean, the graphics are obviously old at this point, but even in Wander's face you could see the pain. And then that ending... god.

Any of the characters in LoD could have died and I'd have barely noticed. Lavitz was LoD trying to have its own Aeris and failing. A cast of cardboard cutouts for characters.
Hmmm I feel like Resonance of Fate deserves a spot. I never played it, but it looks pretty sweet.
I suppose there was no chance XIII and XIII-2 were gonna make the list, but I'd put them on though.
Deus Ex... not strictly an rpg. Great game though, my GOTY the year it came out. Still, I'd knock it off the list. Doesn't seem entirely fair to actual rpgs.
As for Ni No Kuni, I think it may well deserve that top spot. Possibly the bes...
I just hope EA don't have their hands up Insomniac's asses playing the ventriloquist. This game seems to be a huge step back from their previous stuff- it lacks heart or something. I don't know, I guess we'll see.
EDIT: I still like the idea of each player splitting up and going through different, specialized parts of the levels before rejoining. Could make for some pretty sool parts.
I just thought Tools of Destruction was so much better. A Crack in Time felt a little bit half baked, and the graphics to me took a serious hit or something. I liked it and I own it, but I definitely prefer Tools of Destruction. It had better level design too.
That would be fascinating. It's a much bigger endeavor than most realise though...
That tweet is pretty hype-y. It couldn't really be something minor like a mobile game or something.

They're definitely overdoing it with the screenshots. I want to find and see this stuff for myself, I don't want a screenshot for everything in the game. Much more and I'd almost barely be interested in buying it.
Games have become way too commercial- the advertisement and promotion is just relentless- when you finally sit down the play the game you know pretty much everything about it.

A new Breath of Fire would be sweet. I never played Dragon Quarter but I'd like to. At the same time, I think they should try something a little bit different to it for number 5.

I think Drive Club is gonna give this game a serious run for its money.
Once they localize Type-0, Bravely Default, and Before Crisis; once they release Versus XIII, and once they announce officially XV and Kingdom Hearts 3, they'll be golden. Oh and also X|X-2 HD ofc.
