YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! THE LAST GUARDIAN AT LONG LAST! Literally the only game I care about there, with the possible exception of Knack, but only because Mark Cerny's cool, I'm not 100% sold on the actual game yet.
I thought this would be a high scoring game (and 7s are decent) but I still decided pretty early on that I didn't like the look of this game. The character design is like some bad sci-fi film- so naff. Not to mention the voicework and the overall presentataion. Like one of those really naff new-age sort of sci-fi things. Nah, no thanks.
The visuals, the art direction and the soundtrack are probably the best I've seen this gen- or at least, they're my favourite.
But I understand the problems people had with it's story, characters, and gameplay. Nevertheless, I don't think it's nearly as bad as people say.
