Well it's better than ANOTHER two completely new games with ANOTHER 150 new dudes.

I think they've got enough pokemon at this point, they should make a more ambitious rpg. They're gradually accruing fans from younger and younger generations yeah, but eventually there's going to be a lot of people sick of the same game over and over. They can't keep making this sh!t.

I wonder if that was composed by Hitoshi Sakimoto. Kind of sounds like it in places. It's pretty good.

I suppose people are probably right about it being priced just right, but I don't have the money. It'll have to wait. I do want one though.

Eh, I'm pretty sure it has more to do with Subject 16, or "Klay". Did you watch the trailer?

Agh, those first person parts kind of suck in terms of gameplay. I'll still get this for the story though. Also some of the level design looks a lot more interesting.

Well, I ain't buyin one then.

Ah who cares, just look out your window if you want to see some really good graphics. Just make us some fun games with good stories.

Sorry? "The shockingly poor Warrior Within"? That game was absolutely outstanding. The music was a little bit much but the game was brilliant.

Bioshock 2 was just a bigger version of the first game with perhaps a weaker story, but I don't know how you could hate it if you loved the first one.

Call of Juarez I can agree on. That game is a lot of fun and the setting and graphics are sweet.

Hmmm, well if, as this article claims, AC3 has been in development for three years, I'm actually pretty excited about it. Originally I figured they're started work on it after Revelations, and that it might turn out rushed and more of the same with a new weapon / tool added to the gauntlet. I'm actually pretty optimistic now. The final game NEEDS to be massive.

Well Yahtzee absolutely nails this argument regarding MW3 in one of his extra punctuation columns: http://www.escapistmagazine...

I've yet to play the demo and don't intend to, (just going to buy the game at some point), but the context of it in ME3 seems totally different. It definitely seems to have more emotional and dramati...

XIII-2 is such a massive improvement. So much fun to play and less of the anime syndrome that plagued the characters and story of the previous game. It seems like a majority of the people who naysay it are bitter traditionalists, or those who just jump on bandwagons because of their own insecurity.

XIII wasn't even an awful game, the graphics and design were extraordinary, and the music was the best I'd heard in a videogame for a long time. It's flaws are pretty o...

That's what they think. What people don't seem to realize is that in videogames, story and gameplay are equally as important and should really mesh seamlessly. Not that I'm accusing FF games of not having this, I think they totally do. These people probably know that but don't realize it, and therefore don't actually prefer story over gameplay in the FF games, rather they haven't recognised that FF games blend the two aforementioned aspects very well.

Shuhei Yoshida looks like a benevolent Kim Jong Il.

Well I played Morrowind a bit but plan to play it properly soon. Played Oblivion completely, and obviously they're not in Skyrim. I suppose they're in Morrowind then are they? I couldn't care less about the original two.

Freakin Spears! I've always wished they's put Spears in TES. Werewolf Skill tree would give more reason for actually sticking as a werewolf, and the seasonal thing would be sooo good for immersion. Also kill cams for bows would be super sweet.

However, it kind of seems that if you were to ride a dragon, the game would have a nightmare trying to load everything. Maybe on some highend PC it'd work, but not on consoles. The house thing would be kind of cool, but I...

That doesn't strike me as a good idea. The tone of certain parts in the game might rely on future events, i.e. foreshadowing. How are the developers supposed to capture important narrative subleties like that if they don't even know the story? I suppose Ken can say, "no, that's not what I'm looking for", but that must slow down the development process a hell of a lot... Then again the game has been in development for a pretty long time...

I literally just started playing the game. goddamn.

Hang on, does the game actually let you do something like the fourth one??

This is probably for the best. Still gonna get and play it. I need an excuse to play that game again.

I hope at the very least they include a few little extras.

I'm looking forward to this game, but it annoys me when DLC is announced before the game is even released. Put it in the goddamn game then you capitalist swine!

Bethesda have the right idea. Let ideas gestate for a few months, then work on some really substantial DLC. I think that's the only condition that justifies DLC. Anything else is just money grubbing.
