This article pretty much makes no points. America being too far a leap historically from the previous games is kind of a point, but the previous jump between olden times and present so who cares.
Whoa.
Nah the fact that he says "I will fight men of any allegiance" is a pretty sure sign that you'll probably bring the pain to Americans too. It's only the first trailer, plus fighting Americans might be a spoiler-esque plot point or something.
Assassin's Creed has always been about the anarchic destabilization of power in general, (Nothing is true, Everything is Permitted yada yada) I don't think it's going to go Pro-American...
Really? Agh I really want to play this game but I didn't want to have to resort to that. Hmmm, it might happen though...
I think it looks really awesome. Such a cool setting.
Well that's confirmation of KH3 if I ever heard it
I've avoided all the publicity for this game bar its initial announcement to make sure it's super sweet to play when I finally get it. If you just absorb every little detail that gets published (Screenshots, Videos, articles) the game almost definitely won't meet your expectations. The same applies for pretty much every game, in my experience anyway.
I love all the AC games and this one will certainly be the best one, I'm confident enough that I don't need...
Hell yes! I don't care when it's coming out just so long as it's being, as they say, actively developed.
Hooray!
I'll say it again though, as long as it turns out to be absolutely incredible in the end, I'm okay waiting.
A calm and reasonable, if a little bit dodgily written, article. Haters of this game are either just bandwagon hoppers or have anger problems.
You're gonna have to give me some examples. Again, I really have no bias, they all make great consoles and games, but yeah, examples please.
SPYRO!!! FUCK. YES.
He's gonna be my character.
I hope he's not the modern shitty one though. I want at least an original Spyro outfit!
EDIT: Does Josh Keaton Spyro sound anything like Tom Kenny Spyro? I hope he does...
Well Sony does owe a tremendous amount to Nintendo, I can understand if Miyamoto's a little bit averse to the Vita for that reason alone. I mean I love both Sony and Nintendo, but this: http://i28.tinypic.com/154u...
I'm willing to wait for as long as it takes just so long as the game turns out to be amazing.
I wonder, they probably shouldn't have announced it when they did. The building pressure from fans might make them mess up the final product... I hope they've stayed focused.
Eehhh I don't know, i'm not sure I'd want a sandbox Final Fantasy. Maybe something open in the same way XII was.
Agh but I miss the pre-rendered stuff of VII through X.
Screenshots are probably bullshots, but still, this is a really unique and awesome setting. Better be 1080 on consoles this time.
Legend of Dragoon WANTS TO BE Final Fantasy and about a dozen other rpgs. I'd also say it also fails to be any of them quite miserably.
Well, we're already getting three major FF games this gen. XIII, Versus XIII and XIV. I really don't think we'll see another this gen. I'd love if we did, but this gen seems to be in a rush to speed onto the next range of consoles.
If it's going to be a classic Final Fantasy game in terms of both story and gameplay, Daisuke Watanabe, Kazushige Nojima and Hiroyuki Ito all need to be involved. I think shared scoring duties works really well with these games ...
They definitely were.
Yeah I mean they're good games, if a little, no, very frustrating.
Such a negative article with such niggling little complaints. The claim that the game could be "lacklustre" is just outrageous. I just don't see how you couldn't be super excited for this game after the trailer, it looks phenomenal.
