I don't understand the hype. I see nothing special about smartphones other than the fact they provide highly portable internet access. Tablets? As far as I see it, there's absolutely nothing special about them. People just buy them because they've been made trendy by those cunts at apple.

I loved L.A. Noire, and I'm absolutely desperate to play Deadly Premonition. I wish they'd bring it out on the PS3.
Yeah but those guys are all just straight up serial killers. This guy is politically motivated, and my point is that he's actually that politically motivated that he'd go out and massacre teenagers. It's a different kind of madness to all those guys, most serial killers are pretty pyschotic and often their motivations are of a violent, sexual nature.

That franchise is getting away with murder making the same damn game year in year out. It's single handedly made made the fps genre completely stale, and if we let it continue to churn out this shit the whole genre will just end up rotting and smelling really bad. Lay off the fps' for a while until someone comes up with a fresher experience.

Hmmm, not sure it was wise of them to make CG sequences through a perspective that made it look like gameplay, we can be sure now that the ACTUAL gameplay isn't going to look nearly as good. It can only look worse in fact.
Plus I'm sick of this gratuitous and showy violence for the sake of entertainment in videogames. It's just weird.
Assassin's Creed has a mature story, but it's ultimately a very immature game. It treats violence in a very immature way for instance. We play as the "hero", only he's a complete psychopath, (I'm thinking of that execution move where he just needlessly stabs enemies like 10 times in the stomach). Violence in the AC series is made out to look really badass and cool, but that's just totally immature, and totally incongruous with the apparently "noble" pro...
