Well at least they gave us Skyrim first. I remember when people were worried that V was gonna be an MMO.
This could be good if it plays like an Elder Scrolls game and not like all that swtor wow BS. However I'm by default not going to bother with it because it's definitely going to require subscription.
I'm happy to wait for Skyrim DLC and after that happy to wait a further 3 years for TES VI.
That'll be the last straw. I think i'd have to invest in a high end PC that I could upgrade if that happened. In fact, if this is true, I should probably start saving now...

I hope they don't mean it in terms of difficulty... AC games aren't really that hard. They're just the right difficulty if you ask me.

Not a great trailer if you ask me, but the game still sounds absolutely amazing. Also the part where he's leaping through trees is cool. I'm guessing that's how the tree jumping stuff is gonna look in the actual game, and it looks much more awesome than I thought it would.
Also, where's his hidden blade? He IS supposed to have one, but he seems pretty tomahawk-happy in all the stuff released so far.

The American Flag backdrop doesn't necessarily imply some sort of chauvinism. If the protagonist is indeed a Native American, which his attire and even his facial features actually quite heavily imply, then he can't be totally allied to the American cause.
There is a sense of America fuck yeah, but somehow I doubt that's how Ubisoft are going to tackle it. The Assassins are essentially anarchists, and if this is set in the founding moments of America as we know it...

I did actually read that this will be an announcement for a countdown which will countdown to the announcement of the date for an announcement which will actually be announced properly much later in the year. The content of that subsequent announcement is currently unknown but will be revealed when announced. Can't wait.

I hope one of those comes to PS3, however unlikely that is. Haven't been able to play any of Mistwalker's games except Archaic Sealed Heat, the fan translation of which isn't actually complete. Bah.
If it really is Morrowind, Cyrodiil and Skyrim rolled into one, I hope they've been developing this for a very fncking long time, lest it be absolutely infested with bugs.
