Man I wonder how Blizzard must feel, they're like the only company whose games kill people.
What people have to consider here is that if XIII-3 makes as much of an improvement over XIII-2 as XIII-2 did over XIII, then we'll have ourselves a truly incredible game.
XIII-3 has the potential to reel in all the stuff they've been, if a little messily, expounding over the last two games, and it has the potential to do this in an absolutely amazing fashion if they can manage it. In an ideal situation, XIII-3 would be the game that validates the previous two games, ...
Is Greg an SSB / Nintendo fanboy by any chance?
EDIT: Sorry watched it, he's not, whatever.
I'd say that's a pretty good guess.
Yeah Caius is still alive, Lightning is slumbering in crystal waiting for the right time to re-emerge, banish the chaos and restore time, and Valfodr says something about a person of legend who will awaken someday when you defeat him or something. There's a lot of loose ends. If Requiem for the Goddess was the last dlc, there kind of has to be some sort of sequel. If XIII-3 was to make as much of an improvement over XIII-2 as XIII-2 did over XIII, it'll definitely be a truly excellent...
Nope. Adam West Batman is based on the original Batman, which was a really camp comic strip that was supposed to funny.
Then Frank Miller came around like a complete man-child and made it all dark and lame. Lame because it was originally a joke. Somehow people have overlooked how fundamentally ridiculous an idea like Batman really is.
But yeah whatever I still kind of want to play these games.
Yeah I got that, that's the scene when she says she'll awaken "at the end of eternity".
I'm not sure I 100% understood the end of Requiem for the Goddess, so I don't know if XIII-3 needs to be made. There's a kind of cliffhanger I guess, but I don't know where they're gonna go with it.
SPOILER ALERT BELOW
Lighting says she'll wake at the end of eternity. She's crystallized herself to preserve Serah's memory and to basically contain a non-chaotic timeline. She goes on to say that she'll awaken at the end of eternity...
Man I haven't played either of these batman games because I hate this new fascination with "dark" "moody" "edgy" Batman (He's a man in a bat suit for chrissakes), but I'm being drawn more and more to these games, and this kind of thing really intrigues me...
The problem with so called "journalists" is that they're just people like you and me, commenting on n4g, but they've been put on a pedestal due to some arbitrary media power relation.
There are good journalists who make good points, but there are others who shouldn't be taken seriously, this guy'd be one of the latter.
Looks really lovely. Hope it turns out to be an equally lovely game.
You don't announce dlc before the game's even released! Put that shit in the game for chrissakes!
I watched it pretty absentmindedly. I'm not interested in this game yet, need gameplay.
That in game?
That just couldn't have been fun.
+Respect to Sony for that
Ah but 8 sideways IS the infinity symbol! Ay? AY?
Eh? If that's a big difference to you, you care about graphics way too much. Looks like the masonry protrudes a bit more and that's about it.
Strange Journey IS Shin Megami Tensei 4.
He's definitely talking about Persona 5. NOW IS THE TIME.
The only reason games get away with their dirt storytelling is because they're interactive. Most games are just interactive B-Movies; good only because you can take part.
