I still want an assassin's creed game where you play as an ancestor from the first civilization. Big futuristic cities, the design of which the developers and artists have complete free reign over. They could just come up with all this original architectural stuff and make all sorts of new ways of negotiating the world of the game.
Urgh... I'm a bit worried that SE haven't responded to this faster. Makes me dread that maybe they are actually just letting it die or something. Fingers crossed. This game looked phenomenal...
People should really wait for something more official before deciding this is fact.
Considering the nightmarish admin / communication problems that plagued XIII's development, it's a pretty incredible game. Jawdropping soundtrack and the amazing overall design and visuals would be the highlights for me. XIII-2 makes a lot of improvements and is definitely a lot meatier, which is what you want from an FF game, but there are certain things that I think XIII has over it, ie more playable characters and perhaps a more coherent story. Still though I think they're bot...
Oh man, if anyone else was going to develop a BK game other than Rare it'd have to be Nintendo. I'm rooting for them if this is true.
Lol, the same composer who worked on XIII did a lot of work for X.
I get the feeling the soundtracks for both XII and XIII and even XIII-2 just went over people's heads, because they're absolutely astounding. Maybe you need to be more musically involved to realize or something.
Also Sakaguchi had very little to do with most of the FF games. In fact it's a lot of the same writers and directors from game to game. Just sounds like you're recyclin...
There's no way this is true. That's the worst thing they could have done for the company given it's current reputation. Plus they've definitely already developed an enormous amount for it, they wouldn't just scrap it.
Nah until they say it themselves this is BS.
Actively developing like 4 enormous highly ambitious games is absolutely pathetic? Jeez tough customer.
Seems like there's a big chance it'll be an Ivalice game. If not, very like one.
And people need to stop with the "final fantasy / Skyrim thing". He clearly doesn't mean it's going to resemble an Elder Scrolls game, that would be ludicrous. He definitely means he wants to create an rpg that rivals the scale and density of a game like Skyrim, not that he wants to make an Elder Scrolls FF game.
I just wanna know who's writing this....
Probably the robot in the superbot logo or something.
Neither Desmond nor Cole bother me. Cole's a great character actually, not always totally likable but often pretty slick.
Urgh, I'm not sold on this game. After Tools of Destruction (I loved that) the franchise seemed to peter out a bit. Don't know why they even bothered with Quest for Booty, Crack in Time was definitely good but was far from being the best entry imo, and I never even bothered with All 4 One, didn't interest me in the slightest.
I want another huge traditional Ratchet and Clank game. No more spin-offs and half-baked games.
Nah I think he's got a good point there. There shouldn't be any real in game reward for being good or bad. There should just be an intense situation that you tackle in your own way which effects the story.
The effect on the story thereafter should enable you to acquire and experience different parts and elements of the game perhaps?
Basically there should be no system or interface for morality. It should effect your experience of the world in the gam...
I'm worried about Spyro. If he does make the game, there might be pressure from Activision to make him look like he does in the more recent games, which would suck.
I just hope that if he's in the game, one of his costumes is classic Spyro.
It's the only costume I'd use.
Probably because they're trying to get a foothold in the west.
Nah I've turned, we do need new consoles. The Ps2 and the Ps1 didn't have this anomalous tech that developers took years to learn, and that's why they were both amazing consoles with vast and great libraries.
If all the consoles are more accessible to devs, games will be easier to make, and we'll get more of them. No more proprietary tech, consoles should just use great parts off the shelf which are as future proof as possible.
Exclusives and ...
Kickstarter annoys me. It's largely just idiots with their crappy ideas who have the audacity to ask us to fund them.
Kickstarter needs to be heavily policed.
As for the Ouya, I don't want an android console because android is balls and I just hate this generation of "apps", iOS, android, smartphones etc. However, maybe if it was a more powerful console like a ps3 or a 360 it'd be interesting, but that's never gonna happen.

First T&E fans I think I've noticed on N4G.
Now that is a pretty looking game.
Mystic Quest is great. In fact I don't think I've played an FF game I didn't like.
