Jesus that music sucks.
Looks like Origins with a different paintjob.
The environments are pretty damn amazing, and the movement looks really fun. Cool that you can jetpack around and then just dive into water whenever you want. Shame it's yet another third person shooter though. Could also do without those spammy numbers when you shoot stuff.
This game is coming out in 2019, not right now, so no, I'm not saying it took 15 months to make - still at least 6 months to go, probably more though. They could well have started working on the game when Horizon came out. In fact, work could have started earlier, when Horizon was being advertised and hyped - it's first trailer was in like what, 2015? That's a long time. It certainly looks very unfinished anyway. This game is just a mash-up of various safe things. Y'all know I...
Seems very safe if you ask me. That kind of throwback music is sort of in vogue. Also, I doubt this game would have been made if Horizon: Zero Dawn hadn't been successful.
Sounds really interesting. Hope it's not spoiled by shooty shooty bang bang gameplay though. Kojima made it sound as though it wouldn't be (rope instead of stick), but now I'm not so sure.
I sleep.
It's definitely the Air Buster, not the Motor Ball.
Rocks on the bottom left also looking good.
Christ. I wonder if this means the whole game or just the first episode? I almost don't want to know.
It was never going to be Shadow or Cyan. It was always either going to be Locke, Edgar, Sabin, or Celes.
Seems more sensible to make the image Platinum Games' logo rather than a specific game. Seems click-baitish.
EDIT: my bad, missed the part about The Wonderful 101 maybe being ported to Switch.
Lies. Why the heck would Walmart people just make up a bunch of games and put them in the database? They obviously got information from game companies in advance so that they can put up pre-orders as soon as they need to, i.e. right after these games get announced at E3, when people are most hyped and interested, and are more prone to impulse pre-ordering based on misleading trailers.
Jesus. I find it hard to believe it went smoothly in that case. But, if it takes 8 years of smooth development to make your game, you might want to look into ways of streamlining some aspects of the process. If you know what you're doing, you really don't need that much time to make a good game. The same applies to anything creative.
I'm excited for XVI because it'll be the first genuinely new mainline game. XV was basically Versus XIII, which we'd known about for like a decade. XIII itself got two more games, and XIV's been around for ages now. XIV will be totally fresh (unless of course it's Agni's Philosophy, but we know next to nothing about that, so...).
But, I'm also looking forward to the VII remake, and X-3 (which I'm pretty sure is going to happen). I'm also ...
Ubisoft are lame, but don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. Michel Ancel and his team make great games. I think this game that they're calling BGE2 will likely be pretty awesome if it's development goes smoothly. But, I still just want to play that game we were shown so long ago - the one where you play as Jade. That looked so good. Maybe just maybe that game has, internally, become BGE3, but who knows? Also, if it has, it'll probably be almost a decade before we get to...
All this game needed to be was a simple sequel to Beyond Good and Evil. This is just a completely different game with the Beyond Good and Evil name slapped on it. Like, taking it on its own merits, it looks good, but we would have had BGE2 a long time ago if they've just exercised a bit of constraint and discipline and made a faithful follow-up to the original game. I understand the desire to make a super-ambitious, enormous game, but why not do that some other time? Why does BGE2 have to...
Onimusha?
Ay-ay-ay. Here we go again. I suppose I'm more comfortable with an internal team making the game though. CyberConnect2 making it never sat well with me. It looked really, really good in that gameplay trailer though - except perhaps the cut scenes.
Definitely interesting. I have a feeling it's going to be a Star Citizen type game though, i.e. generic space marine stuff. I'd prefer a No Man's Sky type game, but, ya know, obviously better than No Man's Sky. Maybe even something with a Star Trek feel to it. The teaser gives nothing away though, so who knows what it'll be like.
