Speaking in aggregates, I'd say the next Playstation and Xbox will be 10x more powerful than the current consoles.
To put that in perspective, it's often said that the Ps3 and Xbox360 are 30x more powerful than their predecessors, again that's a sort of aggregate.
I thought Tools of Destruction was the most refined one.
A Crack in Time felt different somehow, and the visuals seemed worse to me. I liked it but it felt like a slight step back or in the wrong direction or something. It definitely didn't seem as focused to me.
Ps2 / Xbox - - - Ps3 / Xbox360 - Ps4 / Xbox720 - Agni's Philosophy.
In other words, the Ps3 / Xbox360 are 30x more powerful than their respective predecessors, the Ps4 and the Xbox720 will be 10x more powerful than current consoles, and Agni's Philosophy would probably require a console 10x more powerful than the forthcoming consoles. I'd imagine.
Woah woah woah I'm not being a hater. Just thought it'd be funny.
I mean did you really think I was taking my calculations seriously? They're obviously ludicrous, no game has ever taken close to that amount of time to develop and never will, there's no reason why this game would be any different.
It's immediately obvious that other more fundamental things must have contributed to such a long development time for the footage.
God I'm out if this sh!t starts again. Though I suppose it never really ended.
Right, so given that the average modern Final Fantasy game would want to be exceeding around 120 hours of gameplay, that adds up to 7200 minutes. Now given that 3 minutes of the game took 1 year to create, 7200 minutes, or 120 hours of the game would therefore take 2400 years, probably subtracting a few hundred years because a lot the game would presumably be real time, and that is also if we presume the development / planning process follows the same pattern year in year out.
This is a spoiler for AC3 sort of, so read on at your own discretion.
But yeah, you can talk to Shaun in the temple at one point and he says something like: "So yeah, after all this is over, how would you feel about jumping in the Animus one more time to visit the First Civilization? See what the fuss was all about." And Desmond assents.
Now, I haven't finished AC3 yet, I'm like halfway through sequence 9 with about 52% completion, so I don&...
Steps they can take to save themselves:
Release Versus XIII
Localize Type-0
Release Kingdom Hearts III
Release A Realm Reborn (Presuming it's a LOT better than XIV)
Release Lightning Returns
Release Agni's Philosophy as Final Fantasy XV on next-gen consoles.
They might also consider localizing Bravely Default, Sigma Harmonics and Blood of Bahamut.
Why does no-one ever think of the First Civilization? They could make a completely new world for that.
I hope so. Although maybe they'll create a new platforming / adventure series for the Ps4. Like that game they canned, Girl with a Stick or something?
In any case, a brand new, next gen PROPER R&C game would be delightful. Up to Insomniac though.
It's good alright. Koh Ohtani's stuff in general can be a little bit samey, and sometimes a little bit basic where it could use more intricacy, but it is overall imo a good soundtrack, probably one of his best.
When you're trying not to get sucked into the whirlwind at the end the music is just pitch perfect. Haunting, sad, beautiful, poignant agh so good.
BINGO! He DOES like exactly like something out of Twilight! Don't anyone deny it!
Capcom are just cashing in to the trend of being really, gravely serious and having your lead character be a serious, troubled, trendy, "heart-throb". I mean c'mon people, stop just lapping up this sh!t.
I wish the games industry would stop being so preoccupied with corporate competition and brand loyalty. Such childish nonsense. When did it stop being about creativity and fun?
Games are heading to shallow blockbuster territory without even having had a single sort of "high" period; like film had German Expressionism, New Wave, Surrealism, Dogme 95.
I wonder if it's a conspiracy on the part of Activision to try and get rid of the Vita...
What? How is this game taking so long? It was announced in 2009.
I'd say Versus XIII will be out before this.
They chose to take on the job though. It really shouldn't be a job option at all, it's just a cheap way to draw people to your booth.
What makes a good Final Fantasy game is just that FF vibe, which just an amalgamation of loads of things.
Well I never said anything about 10 being garbage. One of my favourites actually...
Cool, makes me want to play both of those games.

From what I can gather, Valve just left some useless debug stuff in the Ep2 update that ramped up it's size.
Also there doesn't seem to be any connection to this with the videos. Someone said they were found amongst the 400mg update file, but I can't find any sources for their information.
