The closer videogames get to some sort of mainstream status (IOs, android etc are at the forefront of this) The more diluted and crappy they become.
Can you really review a console that's just come out?
Hahaha Lego Gollum looks hilarious! So sinister.
Jeez, this game is straight cleaning up. Might have to get it at some point.
Read a fucking book you backwards ignorant asshole.
Also isn't Naruto gay? I don't watch the show but I read about that somewhere.
Hmmm, well it would be unprecedented for a Final Fantasy game to contain same sex relationships. I suppose it's a big step for them.
Also homosexuality only really became a confident sexual identity in Japan in the last decade. It wasn't necessarily frowned upon, but I think culturally it wasn't expressed with confidence. I suppose Square-Enix probably have to consider this.
I do hope they implement it eventually though.
I only really played Persona 1 and both parts of Persona 2 like a year and a half / 2 years ago, and I only bought Persona 3 and 4 under a year ago.
I'm gonna play the original version of 4 otherwise it's a waste, but damn, part of me wishes they hadn't released this.
BEST GAME.
Kind of felt like a lot of the bosses were sort of trial and error, but still one of the greatest games ever.
The story's pretty good on paper if you ask me, it's just that the engine seems to be unable to make anything dramatic. Most of the dramatic moments in the game are just awkward and weird, and often completely impotent.
To be honest I can take or leave the dlc. I think I had my fill of Skyrim with the main game sans dlc.
Dragonborn looks good I guess, but if it never makes it to Ps3, in all honesty I won't be that gutted. There are other games I'm much more excited for.
When I finished Oblivion, I was super excited for whatever the naext game in the series would be. It just seemed like it would be larger than life. When I finished Skyrim, I kind of felt I'd had m...
I think part of the reason people are getting so riled up about this game is rumour.
Most of the rumours about the game's appearance at this and that conference are unfounded, which has repeatedly lead to disappoointed and people getting angry at SE.
But in most of the cases it's not like SE have said "we're showing the game at this and that conference" and then failed to deliver. People should be angry at whoever started the rumour. It&...
I'm just wondering if the screenshots were truly in game. I.e. if they were doctored or rendered on PC...
Too much deceit in the VG industry these days.
Oh, a new- ZzzzzzzzZzzZzZzZZzzzZZzZzzzZzZ zZzZZzZzZZZZZzzzz
I think XIII-2 is better than XIII in terms of gameplay and longevity, but I think XIII has a tighter story. Both their soundtracks are awesome.
And yeah X-2 is incredible. I think people find it hard to look past the Dressphere system and the light-heartedness of it. Not only is the dressphere system really awesome (basically a jazzed up version of the job system), but the light-heartedness is good fun, and the game isn't without it's really serious stuff. It's a...
IX's not my favourite, but I love it and lots of people I know regard it as their favourite.
You're right about V and XII though. People don't seem to care much about them. I love them though .
XII is a great game. Amazing world, gameplay and music, and V is awesome. Not the best cast of main characters, but an awesome, world, story and soundtrack.
The fuq is wrong with you people?? Stop buying this sh!tting game.
Vaan basically not being the main character in XII was strange... EDIT: This article says he was but he definitely wasn't. It'd be a toss up between Balthier, Ashe and Basch.
VI kind of had multiple main protagonists. That's one of the things that was awesome about it.
Alright, I think that's enough screenshots. Don't want to show us everything and completely kill the hype.
Completely classless.
Metal? I mean I listen to metal (though I'm very picky about it) but metal? Really? There's a time and a place for it.
This song is just so slick, and it works with the tone and the rhythm of the trailer really well.
Cool article.
That Final Fantasy one's always bothered me though. I reckon it's a connection we can take or leave. I can't imagine they'll ever release a game to fill in the interval between them. It was probably just a wild idea one of them had, but didn't want to go too in depth with.
In fact I'd consider Shinra as more of an allusion, not an outright connection.
