@mkis
Yes, the RAM is without a doubt the biggest issue on the Series S and something that I believe they were too aggressive when doing the necessary cutbacks to create the S.
That said, just because something is the biggest factor to consider when doing a SS port doesnt mean this is suddenly some entirely new kind of scaling that has never been done before and therefore “limiting how they make the games for the other consoles”
I can a...
The same way that they already do so for every single PC port that targets graphics cards from like 6-8 years ago for their minimum recommended specs… this argument is beyond dumb and getting pretty old by now.
Every single developer that is targeting a PC release (practically everyone at this point) is already targeting a lower spec anyway, and have zero problems designing their games just the way they want to.
Even freaking Last of Us Remake has a GTX 970 for the...
No games from the literally just created independent studio that has no ties with any platform?…
Well, it would be kind of strange for someone to create a new studio and magically already have a game developed…
Your seriously asking why an Xbox exclusive game has so much negativity here? This site’s comment section has reverted back to the absolutely worst version it had during the PS4 peak.
Sure there are fanboys for all consoles like every other site, but in the past few months the amount of Sony fanboys in the comments has skyrocketed to the point that normal conversations you could have 5-6 months ago are borderline impossible and you will see anyone even saying something as simple as ...
@SullysCigar
“ This development has been fraught with issues, from dumping PS5 development over a year in”
Please tell me this is some kind of joke hahaha.
Do you seriously believe that within 1 year of development anything specific had even been done for ANY particular platform? Within 1 year of development there’s barely anything remotely playable for most games. Dropping any kind of platform on any game that early, if anything, is j...
There is an anime coming
@BandarHub
Except, it wont be one of kind, the exact same model of armor will be available for everyone.
The only thing that will be unique is an ID only visible on the backend.
Because you would have to be unbelievably delusional if you think any company will actually create unique assets to go along with that unique NFT.
But even more than that, if they did wanted to limit the number of items given away, there isnt a single t...
Cross save is not only something they have advertised, but something that currently works between other platforms.
Making sure that continues to work on all platforms is definitely something that makes sense and I see no reason why they couldn’t release that update on other consoles without the graphical upgrades
They even did mention they were going to update it, they just havent said when
@crazy
As explained by darth, its not that these games are only available to stream, its that they were already available to downloand and this time they are being added to cloud too.
The stuff in the ( ) is not where they are available, but where they are being added at this time
Accountability for what? … they aré literally saying in the video its better to cut the feature rather than not release the game at all and how MS has already eventually relented on these kind of restrictions in the past…
They are not saying its not an Xbox specific requirement… they said these kind of requirements have also happened in the past (obviously for this specific case it can only be an Xbox requirement since its the only platform with 2 different consoles)
Their entire discussion is how in the past, these kind of restrictions/policies have eventually been lifted and whether this will be the point when it happens for SS/SX and how its better to cut the feature from the S rather tha...
Probably fine, same as all the other anime cross overs they’ve done, they will likely stick to a cell shading style.
Though tbh, even when they dont use cell shading, its crazy just how good Fortnite’s visual style can adapt to so many different kinds of characters without having them look bad
Really? While I’m really excited for the game I cant say I’ve been blown away by the graphics at any point. They are not bad by any stretch of the imagination, but certainly not what I would consider better than those mentioned above.
Honestly, before the last trailer when they showed significant upgrades over the first trailer, it was looking a bit “underwhelming” graphically.
And even now, while it has looked much better in recent showings, I’d be hard ...
Everything they wrote on this article is correct…. Even just reading the headline you can tell they are talking about how on STREAMS and VIDEOS the picture will look blurrier than what the player actually sees, and simply go in depth to explain why.
So I take it that you didn't actually bother to read the article despite saying that “everything they wrote is the opposite of what other sites have said”
Im honestly dumbfounded, not just by the statement but by the amount of Agrees it has haha.
Who honestly believes they are paying $70 billion dollars to get marketing rights to CoD? Lol
They are paying to increase their portfolio, to strengthen their platforms and gamepass, to get the ridiculous amount of money CoD generates on every platform in terms of sales and MTX. They are paying to purchase several talented development studios…
Th...
Those are more for mid range cards though, not for a 4090 haha.
Its probably a matter of reducing a couple of settings at most to keep it stable. Though if you are using VRR, anything in the 80-120 range will still feel great and its only if you are checking the fps that you really notice the drops
Not really once, anytime there is a driver update it should do it. Still though, its rather short and something necessary at this point in PC gaming
“Will not sit well with big publishers”???
Its not like every publisher and developer bases their revenue on what Phil Spencer said would happen… every single one of them is absolutely tracking the performance of the games they add to game and decide everything based on their data/predictions (when to add them, for how long, if they come back, what to ask of MS for payment, etc)
The fact that you are somehow including framerate into the discussion tells just how little you know, yet you somehow say it with so much confidence… its kind of crazy to be honest
As if working 8+ hours a day for 6 years trying to design a game, or having to constantly work against the constraints of an aging system should mean less pay to a developer for some reason. (And this is kind of leaving aside the discussion of how many games create their assets at much higher qua...
Not saying you have to feel forced to upgrade to 4000 if you already have a 3000, but power sucking?
Every single review for the 4000 cards showed they were noticeably more power efficient than the 3000 cards running at the same specs/caps. Outside of anything else you can rightfully critique about them, they are without a doubt very power efficient
As for DLSS3 running on older hardware, if we go by their claims they dont have a good enough Optical Flow...
