For someone complaining about people “not reading”, you certainly aren’t doing much of it yourself. She never agreed to the $4000 and was therefore replaced (with some suggesting she was given a low offer in order for her to reject it and replace her)
So.. not only is Spiderman not a movie tie in, what recent games have been movie tie ins?
I honestly cant even remember the last one I saw, let alone to be tired of them
@CrimsonIdol
I havent seen a single review mentioning anything close to 500w, let alone 670w.
If anything, there seemed to be plenty of scenarios where it was actually drawing even less power than the 3090ti at the same settings
Well, the founders edition is exactly the same as it was for the 3090ti. So while not exactly a small number, its still only 450w and you can technically run it with an 850w PSU (or 1000w more realistically depending on what else you are running).
The board partners are the ones that have gone a bit too crazy, both in size and power requirements
Yes it was
Live service games would also be the most affected by being on PS4 though. By their nature those are the games that will continue to receive content for years to come and supporting a weaker hardware (plus the fact by its very nature it means supporting 2 more SKUs) can significantly impact how much could those gaas game continue to grow without ditching the last gen at some point .
Its not necessarily just about having a larger install base
Why are they way behind? Its selling extremely close to what the PS4 had sold in the same time and thats considering a significantly worse global situation during the PS5s time.
Its not like they would have just suddenly produced 2x-3x more PS5s without the chip shortage
At this point, this game practically needs to release on game pass and PS Plus day one if its going to have any chance to generate interest. Its kind of crazy just how many delays its had considering there’s barely been any hype about it so you would just expect Ubi to release it and be done with it like so many other times they’ve done that
Well, they are changing it from releasing 1 day before GoW ragnarok, so its hard for the new release date to be worse than that
Why do people keep saying these changes are for casuals? Who exactly do you think benefits from an extremely fast ttk/twitch shooter? Or requiring a better read from the mini map? Or needing to perform better to unlock all perks? Or not having ghost from the start?
Try hards who know every corner of the map, run at super high fps, usually with specialized hardware, are completely up to date with the meta changes….? Or casual timmy who only plays every now and then, doesnt h...
@roadkillers
Who do you think is actively going around trying to fix security problems?
Who do you think could have been working a long time in marketing related stuff and could have seen their plans/work ruined?
Here’s a hint, its not the multimillionaires running around plugging leaks, fixing things and redoing stuff when something like this happens.
Do you also think the rest of the developers actually like seeing their work leaked out in this ...
The only thing I have actively disliked is that Ghost is an ultimate perk. I dont even necessarily use it all the time, but just by having some people in the team that would normally use it, it would balance out the advantages of the UAV so people couldnt be blindly aggressive.
Now for 60-70% of the match no one has ghost so one UAV can suddenly turn into a chain of UAVs where one team spends most of the match knowing where the entire enemy team is (which makes it easier to continue ...
With 99% of a workforce that are not millionaires and still suffer through everything mentioned in the comment
Doubt it, the recent Remasters of Tales games are about as barebones as they could have possibly been, just look the Symphonia and Vesperia remasters… practically just some upres’ed ports
My guess is that its related to how they both handle emulation differently and that neither of them probably had any way to touch anything code related in the game.
Nintendo for all its issues with backwards compatibility on the Switch online games, builds basically a sort of dedicated emulator for each game that allows them to add stuff like online play, save states, etc, but not really do graphical enhancements.
Xbox on the other hand has been able to do the exac...
Seems really interesting, though I gotta say, for a 2024 game, graphically speaking, I’m hoping for some significant improvements.
It looked like a cross gen game which is fine if it was releasing this year and not 2 years from now.
Stellar Blade only made the graphical differences more apparent .
Then again, its 2 years until release so this was probably a trailer cut from just a vertical slice anyway
I mean, the article is talking about achievements in general and that Nintendo was the first to this kind of reward with their current setup and how Sony is also taking that same step.. but Orchard is right, this actually already exists in Xbox (though limited to just the US), though I would say Nintendo did technically had a rewards program even before Xbox, just tied to purchases and not about in game quests-achievements
To me it doesnt make sense that at that price point it doesnt include the paddles (which can be removed anyway), its the biggest distinguishing factor between a normal and a “pro controller”
Selling everything else as a separate package seems fine to me
You dont even need to go into the link to see it was only sold through Sony’s store… its right there in the article description
She literally didnt take the job because of the amount offered
