Yeah, even if this game doesnt turn out to be good (considering is going to be a free game on PC, so who know how its gonna be handled on Wii U), this certainly shows a lot of the potential this controller has on all type of games
They also already confirmed you can do voice chat with the controllers mic, heck even video chat but i wouldnt hold my breath for video chat while playing (though if you think about it, there is something similar being done on Star Fox 64 3D, so who knows)
draw plans on the controller so your teams mates can see them without ever pausing
Select loadouts without having to pause.
have a recon plane/something on your controller with a totally diferent view that whats on the tv.
Mark enemies while on recon and it shows on your friends console.
Voice chat without headset.
Video Chat without extra camera.
I could go on but i dont see why... stop hating on things just because you probably dont h...
well considering what you see on the Wiipad is done by the WiiU and at the very least is on par with the PS3, possibly more powerfull, i dont see how the Vita is more powerfull... and well one thing people dont realize is the diference on launching a console with that controller and just adding similar support to an existing console. The developer support or interest will never be the same if its just an optional thing. Just look at the move, right now all that has been done by 3rd party deve...
I agree with you, there are not many Nintendo fans on this site so most comments are usually just ppl saying how they were "thinking" about getting the console but with any news that show up they suddenly wont buy it and nintendo sucks....
On the topic, the demos they have shown definetely show that games can be really fun with the wiipad/wiimote combo as well, but still some great ideas that were coming out wont be doable.
dude you should check the roundtable that they did for presenting ubisoft games, especially ghost reacon.. the type of things they are aiming to do with the WiiPad is amazing and certainly only doable on the Wii U.
It can bring some truly amazing aspects to both casual play as well as hardcore play.

Well, from a price point of view it really doesnt bother me, i personally dont see myself buying 4 $100 controllers. The other thing is that it does make sense to think that 4 controllers at the same time could be a bit too much for the console to handle.
Its a shame though because there is a lot of good ideas that come to mind for multiplayer with multiple WiiPads, though if the demos show anything is that the WiiPad + Wiimote combo can produce some good results.

mmm not quite sure what to think about this, i mean, based on what we have seen/heard about the controller i would look pretty taxing for the system to handle 4 controllers at once, Im hoping at least maybe 2(i also liked the idea of using the 3DS as well since i have one) . The other thing is costs, as much as like the controller and all the multiplayer possibilities that come to mind, there is no doubt that controller will cost at least $100, so i definitely wouldnt pay for 4.
You know, i thought the same from the screenshots, but it dont really think thats the actual controller or maybe those hands are really small.
I say this because if you look at some videos of ppl playing it, it doesnt look as big as the one on the screenshots. Not to mention pretty much all sites have said its not unconfortable
Even if the screen is not HD, the size is so small compared to your TV, that you dont really need it, many sites have alreayd confirmed the screen looks really good.
Think about, whats the point of a resolution that gives you 100.000.000 pixels, when you can only fit 100.000... (just throwing random #s btw, to make my point)
Whats most exciting about this free app is checking out how the 3DS Pokemon will look like, and i can say im not dissapointed, definetely looking for Pokemon 3DS
Yeah probably the price will play a big factor this time around, however one thing to ponder is the fact that nintendo never releases consoles without making some money out of them, so it means sony is losing some serious $$$ on the PSV, which means also more time before a price drop, something that benefits Nintendo.

Im not saying that Revelations doesnt look amazing, but still not to this level, you should look for the latest video of a demo version, the monster at the end looks kinda ugly (i know its a really early version btw). What should be noted is that just because Uncharted looks like this, it doesnt mean that every game will look the same, the Uncharted Engine has always been one of the best
Yeah there is no doubt it looks better than the 3DS, but you should also look at some of the upcoming games like RE: Revelations to see the 3DS has really good graphics too. And also the fact that probably without having to render everything twice for the 3D effect the diference between 3DS and NGP wouldnt be that much
Im not saying it doesnt look great because it does, but those screenshots are not on par with Uncharted 1, let alone Uncharted 2. Still, it looks amazing and this is just the 1st wave of titles, im sure the latest titles will match the mid-life PS3 graphics.
And lets not forget that Uncharted has some of the best graphics on PS3 so its not easy to match that.
And the real problem of everything is the absurd reliance (or obsesion would fit better) with the numerical score. Who cares if they give an 8.5 to the last 20 games they reviewed, its very likely to happen unless they switch back to a 100 point scale. But people shouldnt bother with a score and just read or watch the review and see if what they like or dislike matches your opinion
the problem is supposed to be that everything you get on the controller is handled by the console, the controller doesnt have a processor, so if you have 4 controllers i would mean 5 times the processing for the console.
By this point, i would be really happy with support for 2, since i dont plan on spending $400+ on controllers. And also i hope this means nintendo is gonna make a stronger push in the online area
