i dont know why people keep complaining about nintendo, sure i dont like any of the 1st party games for holiday 2008 except wario land, but that doesnt mean they are not making any more hardcore games or they havent delivered any... It actually takes time to make a game, and if they can release all those games ...

Actually i like the idea, sometimes headsets are uncomfortable after a while, and as some1 else said, u can still hear everything on the background.
So as long as it has good noise filtering so we dont listen to in-game music, and i dont have to shout for people to hear me, i prefer nintendo's idea, tough i wouldnt call it an online inovation, its simply a speakerphone for online play
yeah i understand that the developer can do as much as the company allows them to do, but lately the quality has decreased rather than at least staying the same. If they are gonna keep the same engine and gameplay elements, and clearly the didnt care about the online, they should have at least delivered decent AI... Thats for me, the worst part of PES08(among the many), the players are incredibly dumb

dude, this is the 3rd next gen PES, there is no excuse for the lackluster titles they have delivered, i have always been a PES fan and as the rest i find the gameplay better than FIFA's, but as of last year EA has really narrowed down the differences to the point the just a minor lead in gameplay but completely awfull on every other front isnt just gonna do it for me to buy the next PES

Whats good about games like zelda or mario has nothing to do with graphics and horsepower, they are all about gameplay. Maybe something like metroid could fall on that category, but the asumption that those games could be better just because of pretty graphics is lame

wow, how bad are you at actually reading what they say and just go on by the header, it say the have already released all of their ORIGINAL ideas, that means they released all that they 1st tought. That hardly means that they wont come up with anything new.
I doubt sony and microsoft have planed their ideas for the next 7 years or so...

On the other hand PES is looking just like a prettier version of 08. And if you read some of the things people are saying, there are many things that they havent fixed in PES09, like the awfull referee, goalkeeping and AI. Its still the master league instead of something...
this article is lame... of course its catching up, backing in may, there was a minimal amount of PS3 units sold(hence the 6 to 1). Its just that now the PS3 is selling decently and the wii has remained unstopable in sales so the difference has decreased. If the PS3 was still behind 6 to 1 by this point they would have already stopped production and declared it a failure....

i think most of you people are missing the point that even you keep bringing up, casuals dont look for games on the internet, they dont spend almost every minute of their lives commenting on every single story, on places like this one like some people here do, they rely on the media, the type of media that WAS at the conference(newspapers,etc)
Dont get me wrong, i hated that conference, it was probably one of the most boring hours of my life, but it makes complete sense for ninte...
because all the mainstream media was at the conference, so they want to keep the casual appeal before them(just look at that anoying lady that they placed on stage....)
still i belive that 20-30min of casual would have been more than enough, but hey, from a bussiness perspective i can understand nintendo, us hardcore gamers are gonna find about new games anyway, with or without E3

Yeah i agree with you, people are definetely over reacting. I wont deny that the conference was probably the most boring hour of my life and it was a bad move by nintendo because its the hardcore comunity that watch and care about E3, it would have been the same for all the mainstream media on the conference if they had anounced the casual gaming in 20min or if they took the whole hour(like they did...)

Vojkan there was no Killzone 2 because theres an exclusive conference dedicated only to that game later, check out the ign livewire schedule to see exactly when
