if i have learned something about launch days (with any company) is to not get my hopes up. Its becoming increasinly common for a launch date game to end up a "launch window"(which seems to be getting bigger with each console launch) to maybe getting the game on the same year the console is released.
So at least im not going to expect seeing every good game they have anounced as launch title to come out that day, and if it does happen, well even better then
Just because they may not be making profit right now doesnt mean we arent seeing something good, when the user base of a console grows like this its always good. Heck this gen only Nintendo was making a profit on their consoles and i dont see Sony or MS lying dead anywhere
MS should sue is idiot and ignorant ass for their legal fees, which i imagine would be pretty high, i doubt MS has cheap lawyers.
thats not really an excuse for not having splitscreen, everyone knows by now that splitscreen is never as good looking as single player. It doesnt mean its not a feature i really like in a game because i have friends that come all the time to play at my house or i go to theirs.
So yeah, i dont care if COD looks worse than battlefield, looks arent everything. I would have really liked a splitscreen competitive mode
with just one i dont think it will run it at max everything, but still definitely better than console versions and still smooth gameplay
@-lukeskywalker-
here is an example as to why i might keep selling lemonades at $1.
Say i was selling 100 lemonades per month, then you come and start selling and my sales drop to 75 per month. Im still making $75.
Now if i drop to 50 cents just to keep my 100 sales per month, i would only be making $50 per month...
This is just a very simple scenario obviously, but maybe it can show you that a price drop is not something th...
cant say im surprisded, after that epic multiplayer trailer i cant wait to play it on PC, good thing i recently upgraded to dual GTX 570s
anyone knows if Battlefield 3 will have competitive splitscreen??
No stand, its meant to be on horizontal position only
well one of the reasons i havent even tried to go into home is that if you still have to download and install every new place, then its just not gonna work for me, the idea of 100 new places is great, but the idea of 100 diferent downloads and installations is not. Home should work like all MMOs and just do periodic updates that include a lot of locations at once so once i go in i can go anywhere without having to install something
yes they do have trophies.
As for the launch games, ill hold on until the actual launch because history has proven its easy to talk, hard to deliver. Many times i have seen plenty of games from Launch day, to launch window(which is getting considerably larger nowadays) to releasing on the same year as the console.
lmao final blow??? since when are the PS3 or Wii dying that they are going to get a "FINAL BLOW". Funny how some things work out in the minds of little kids. The PS3 is doing just fine, the 360 is doing fine and the Wii outsold the competition by so much that Nintendo could struggle for like 5 years without anything new and they still wouldnt be close to a "final blow"
well they are probably disagreeing based on the fact that the article clearly states the same facts that you are pointing out. It clearly says that its just in NA that the PS3 has been constantly behind the 360. Perhaps next time you should read the article instead of commenting based on the title alone
well you cant really blame people for having high expectations when it was Sony who made it look like it was gonna be like SecondLife.
well i guess it all depends on you point of view of home. To me it did dissapoint based on the idea the Sony placed on my head that Home would be, then again i was so disappointed that i probably havent even accessed it for over a year if not more, so who knows maybe it has changed for the better.
One of my biggest complaints about Home was the loading times and the constant installing of just about everything, if that has changed i might give a try again
dude, wanting to make a profit out of each console sold is hardly being greedy. Its just good bussiness. Nintendo unlike MS or Sony is just a videogames company, they cannot rely on other departments to make money while their Games department loses a HUGE amount of money(well in the past, anyway, they arent losing anymore). And with the new price tag they will actually be losing a bit on each one, thats why they lowered their expected earnings by hundreds of millions
well i think its pretty safe to say he was just trolling because the game got a good score. The review its actually pretty well written, he explains everything in detail, mentions what he doesnt like, and deducts some points based on that.
Also the fact that he has only one bubble pretty much says he was just trolling and thankfully we wont see him again on this article
well Valkyria Chronicles is more an Strategy Game than full RPG. Kind of like Fire Emblem, a strategy game with a lot of RPG features
for anyone looking for a good strategy game, definetely buy Ghost Recon Shadow Wars. I wasnt expecting too much of the game and it certainly surprised me. Graphics arent too good, but gameplay is very addicting.
The gameplay is like the Fire Emblem Games
well i guess eveyone knows the title is just to grab hits, however it is true that even though the PS3 is doing fine now, its nowhere near where Sony thought it was gonna end up, or the fact that they lost a lot of money on its first years.
Also most people then to compare the worldwide sales with the 360 and even though the PS3 may have a lead now(not sure if it has) Sony had the upper hand coming off the PS2 and they lost a lot of ground to the 360, not to mention that if the 360 s...
