not really, if they could sue them im sure they probably would. Patents are not just about a function or product, but actually about how it works, or how is that function achieved. If the Wii U uses diferent technology than the PS3 to do it, Sony cant do anything
really?? cause on the articles i have seen they have said they wouldnt be actual buttons, not that i care anyway, the amount of games that use those is marginal at best
@gamezenith
Not really, any card that can handle the game 1080p would be the same, regardless of the size of the TV
damm that goldeneye pic,lol its just like the one about Dugtrio...
this is the dugtrio pic btw: http://img248.imageshack.us...
Great article btw, most gamers starting this gen are so diferent from us, the ones that were at the very beginning and know how to apreciate all aspects of gaming no mather the genre, console, company, etc
mostly the Ram that goes from 4GB to 8GB, and the SSD Drive which to me is kinda pointless, prices are still to high and they are still not as reliable. Not to mention they would be better on an even more expensive PC.
I would personally use the money of the SSD in that build and get a better graphics cards, you would see a much larger improvement in games
good thing i upgraded my rig with new GPU's recently, cant wait to see how BF3 looks.
My PC btw is:
Inter Core i7 (midly OC to 3.1GHz)
Corsair H70 Liquid Cooling for the CPU
Case HAF X Full tower with 4 200mm fans
Motherboard EVGA x58 3x Sli
6GB Corsair RAM 1600MHz
Western Digital 500GB HD
OCZ 850W Power Supply
2x GTX 570 SC Edition in Sli
Samsung BD/ DVD RW Drive
And i use a 32"...
considering the fact that it doesnt account for rebates and it includes $100 for Windows 7 which pretty much everyone just pirates, then you can get yourself a pretty decent gaming rig, a GTX550 is still way above current consoles, could get you some nice settings on BF3
even though Nintendo might release an updated 3DS in a year or so, people dont seem to know this Slide pad has extra trigger buttons so i doubt those could be included on an eventual redesign. In the end we might still have to buy some attachment for the triggers but definetely smaller if the Slide pad is included on the 3DS itself
games on the 3DS can be patched, so its theoretically possible, then again the thought of Nintendo patching old games to support this is a bit far fetched
actually what most people dont seem to know is that the attachment is not just adding a 2nd pad but also L2 and R2 buttons, so if the games require them, a redesign with just another slide pad wont be enough. And i cant really see how they could redesign the 3DS to include L2 and R2 without being really weird
this stupid issue that EA refuses to fix is not just for Puerto Rico but for any country in Central America as well. Why the hell would i have to pay in euros knowing its more expensive that way??
i was actually interested in buying some of the promotions they had released for battlefield but in the end i had to buy it on amazon because of this nonsense
yeah, the previous were right on the money when they said fans would have to get used to gameplay again. The tactical defense is i think an even bigger change than the player impact engine.
On topic of the impact engine, i kinda feel that they made some modification to tackling for the demo, cause in previous the writers said that a lot of players spent a lot of time on the ground because of it, but on the demo i even have a hard time intentionally sliding to see a big collis...
somehow im pretty convinced we will end up seeing a retail version of this update, its not like anything that was done on SSFIV or SSF IV AE couldnt have been done to the original title as updates
4 releases of the same game in around 2 years is just ridiculous... there is a reason why we have updates available this gen, to avoid this kind of shady bussiness strategies, not like capcom seems to care
good list... i would swap UMvC3 for Zone of Enders Collection and also i dont see why many sites always fail to mention that the slide pad also includes L2 and R2 buttons, i think its just as good addition as the 2nd nub, though it makes it harder to see how those buttons would be incorporated in a future 3DS revision
MGS 3D was the game why you were gonna buy a 3DS??? out of all the games coming up, that's your defining factor in buying a 3DS?? kinda hard to believe..
who says the 3D effect is not consistent on the 3DS?? the effect is great, no problem with that, the only problem is if you are moving around which i dont really see a reason for you to be moving around playing this game.
Still kinda makes sense to just get the HD collections, more games for the same amount of money... unless we are talking about someone who doesnt have a PS3/360 or Vita
and even more if the HD collection is not Sony exclusive. They should just take it to the 3DS but instead of HD, make it 3D, its not like HD would make that big a diference on such a small screen
Fable rip-off??? WTF?? this game is nothing like Fable, at least not the 1 WKC, and from what i've seen of the 2nd one, i hardly think it would resemble Fable. And i dont mean that in a good or bad way, i like both games but they are nothing alike
Anyway, i never actually finished the 1st game, i can say that it was the 1st time that i thought a game had maps that were TOO BIG. Sometimes i just wanted to go on with the story and even the smallest area would be absurdly big...
Even if i wanted to use my EA account transformed to origin account, i cant because EA has refused for months to take a class of Geography and learn that Central America and Puerto Rico ARE NOT SPAIN, AND WE DO NOT USE EUROS!!!!
