im actually really excited by the possibilities of extra co-op missions, im sure they SP will be amazing anyway.
what i dont understand is why people keep complaining when they already said it was optional. Here is a nice quote from the interview:
"It is still possible to achieve the optimal, complete ending of the game in Mass Effect 3 through single-player alone."
there is a reason why the 2nd and 3rd went to PSP, because VC1 sold like shit on NA....
im sorry, but its really stupid to blame activision for this.... its not like they are the ones that buy the games, PEOPLE make the choice about what to buy
it doesnt hurt to check how the MP will work, its not freacking COD you know, there is NO PvP mode, just alternative Co-op missions that you can skip if you want to.
Finally, what i would like for the MP, would be something like the the Uncharted CO-OP, that is to take some parts of the SP story and you can play them separately in CO-OP without affecting you progress in SP, maybe even have some exclusive missions for Co-op where you dont always need to have your squad with you, diferent routes or points to defend, etc
funny how most people seem to hate something they know nothing about... or claim that the SP will be worse just because there is now Multiplayer, i dont recall Assasins Creed, Dead Space 2 or Uncharted's single player mode being any worse because of MP.
Or how some people assume that just because they are developing MP, that somehow all resources are suddenly going that way, developers work in teams, i would say with a lot of confidence that there is an specific team dedi...
i must have missed the part were they said you cant play SP now.... or maybe the part were they said ANYTHING about how MP will work...
no of course they are not working on it.... EVERYONE knows the companies make new consoles in less than a month... why would they start now???.... -_-"

maybe you activate the extra content with a single use pass, that way if you re-sell it the other person would have to buy it as DLC or be stuck with the regular version....

I hope this means they are going to fix the referees... they dont seem to know how to react to the player impact engine and i have seen (and done) some pretty nasty tackles and there is no foul
for now, among the MANY MANY things it needs to change, i would settle with the simple change of not confusing Central America and Puerto Rico with Spain and then charge us in Euros..... its probably the most idiotic mistake and yet its been going on for months and they havent changed it
thats just a dumb comment, why would you want competition to disappear??? its kinda of a fact that if EA manages to somehow compete with Steam on a similar level then we are gonna keep getting tons of new features or discounts to attract attention to one product or the other, i personally dont see anything wrong with that
not to say the ad wasnt amazing because its probably one of, if not the best games ad i have seen,still i was kinda let down because after the 1st video i was kind of expecting some big announcement, not just an ad.
dont see why so much people here hate DLC, i know most of what comes out now is just things that should have been on the disc(or they are but just locked) but its not like all DLC is bad, think Oblivion - Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles were great DLC that is not like i expect it should have come on the original game.
Same with SOME Mass Effect 2 DLC like Overlord, Lair of the Shadow Broker and Arrival.
Anyway, my point is, if you like how this develo...
just so you know, they implemented some new settings on fifa 12 where you can modify just about anything about the gameplay for you and the CPU, i advise you to check it out. You can change the max speed of players, how fast they can reach that speed (effectively matching or surpassing PES speed without being too arcadey), the speed of passes, how fast the power bar fills, how much do players make runs, how much pressing do defenders do, etc, etc

Exactly, and the whole idea of a Beta is for people to complain about whats wrong so they can change it.... its kinda hard for DICE to change anything if you expect everyone to just stay quiet about problems because "its a beta"...
wiimote + nunchuck has practically the same amount of buttons as a 360 or PS3, only if you count L3/R3 and Select, there is a diference, and its not like many games use those.
well they have never said that gamecube games will be available, but it would make sense, we got up to N64 on the wii so i hope they make GCN Virtual Console, that would be awesome
well they already brought back most of the RPG elements they stripped on the jump from ME1 to ME2, so its not like i would want it to become more of an RPG, the current level of RPG/Shooter they have shown seems good enough for me.
