Soldier of Fortune 2 had better gore in 2002, looks an interesting game but if all the environments are dark and enclosed like that I can feel maybe it will get boring quickly.
It's ok if you're on a tight budget and are playing 1080p 60fps or so, otherwise 3060Ti is the best budget card these days. Next gen around the corner, 4080 callin' my name for those high fps.
Damn, looks like my 2 physical Switch copies are worth quite a lot of money on ebay for some reason.
Seems baffling that DF would say such a thing. Even 90fps is noticeably smoother than 60, diminishing returns as you go up but there's still a benefit. Sweet spot around 140-160hz if you have a high res 1440p or 4k screen.
Some people dislike mid gen console refreshes but then you miss out on quite a lot of performance. That's the benefit of PC, no need to wait for it if it's needed.
No Virtual Springfield? Though tbf it was more of an experience than a game, even though it did have some little gameplay in some parts. Fun for fans though.
Hit & Run was great, my only complaint would be that Homer didn't have enough missions, the game could've been a bit longer and bigger.
a 2070 requirement for recommended doesn't seem that demanding to me, i mean we are in the 3000 series now.. and 4000 series GPUs are right around the corner.
Stopped reading at your first sentence.
Console fanboys really get their panties in a twist whenever just a couple of their games come to PC. But i thought all PC gamers pirate their games?
We get higher visual quality and frame rates. Console players get a cheaper machine and more expensive games + have to pay online fees which may suit them. Everyone has a choice, just buy whatever you are happy with.
For me PC has given a lot more t...
This release seems so lame.
One of the first games i played online not being a lag fest after moving from dial-up to broadband, Worms 2 was my savior with dial-up.
Has a chance to be quite atmospheric if the change in visuals is as much as Quake 2 RTX, this game had fun online and single player IMO.
Well it's over, and most of it was a snooze fest.. basically.
S&box on Source 2 can't come fast enough..
Seems barebones, Mario Party Superstars is by far the best Mario spin-off these days, plenty of variety and fun.
Why they gotta always avoid making a new SA.. seriously why ditch what worked.
Still waiting on that S&box release for that sweet Source 2 goodness.
If one of the games is Final Fight (awesome music on the CD version) it will be even better.
Yeah SA 1 + 2 were pretty fun games, 2 being the better game (IMO). Really seems strange that they haven't tried to improve upon those games, instead they keep trying different things that aren't really working.
I knew as soon as i saw it was open world that it could turn out dull.
They were close to perfection with SA2, why didn't they just build upon it and improve it.
Hmm.. Open world, not impressed if the whole game is like that, can get kind of boring. SA2's levels were pretty tight and well made while still being fairly linear but fun.
Doesn't really matter if it is or not, we have Quest 2 and Quest 3 will likely be out next year.
You need a Nvidia card for good RT performance, the only things that impressed me so far with RT is Quake 2 and Doom classic where they look quite a bit different than the regular versions. Some other games already have decent shadows so RT doesn't make that much of a difference, it's only noticeable when it's done for more than just shadows really.
Too bad about the music they replaced, half assed package tbh. May as well just play the originals.. or mod the original music back in.
