If it's similar to L4D or KF then yes, playing those alone is very boring compared to online. But then it was the same with the Worms games in the 90's, online dial up was far better than the single player in terms of fun.
Would have to agree there. In the late 90's and early 2000's were amazing (esp for PC) for newer types of games that were different, especially online play.
A lot of stuff now is basically the same, the problem with these types of games is repetition and nothing new or unexpected happening.
Special zones? So they'll be few and far between? Hopefully not
Parents are happy to expose their kid to everything online and toxic culture of online gaming, so what difference does it make if they see that stuff anyway, not that I condone it, can be a genuine question though. I don't expect good excuses.
Looks good. Reminds me of the 3D Frogger games which were surprisingly fun IMO
Bring back Custom Robo Arena plz, way better than this garbage as a game.
Damn now this is much more like it, hopefully they aren't few and far between.
Add in a hugely upgraded Chao garden and maybe it's a recipe for a winner?
At least he knows the correct terminology, unlike many who assume Britain is just England saying things like "British accent" makes no sense. It's like the other countries don't exist.
Britain is nothing special anyways. Gets more of a pathetic woke dump by the day.
I would buy one if you could upgrade the APU at least a couple of times, probably not in their interest as they'd sell less next gen handhelds.
It is, even though it's not called GMOD 2 that's essentially what it is, but it says on their site that it will be way better than a simple successor, I guess that's why they choose a different name.
If you want a flat Source 2 FPS experience, wait for S&box which will have a lot of different game modes.
I still really like the visuals of Source 2, so clean looking. Still annoyed that nothing became of the L4D2 plantation remade in that engine, looked so nice in 2014.. If Valve released the goods back then or in 2015/2016 for PC the games would've looked top notch.
Looking forward to see what Valve release next, seems like it will be more Half...
Don't see much point in doing this other than to annoy people, since he won't release it.
Played the original on Xbox and it was a fun game for sure. Better looking than Vice City at the time too, my only complaints would be that there should have been more missions, i don't think Homer got that many. A little linear but still somewhat open, fun game overall though.
The Ice Cap zone music sounds exactly like that unreleased Jetzons song. Reminds me of the outro to the cartoon Tabaluga and the start of the Scooter song called Nessajer.
Wonder how many missions they cut and extra audio they recorded (if any) but never included it in the game. They should've put them in as extra missions in the remaster, but as the guy above said i probably would prefer a full remake.. And extra missions.
Yeah you could run some games at 720p or above in early 2000's on a CRT too if the game wasn't too demanding on your hardware.
Yup and i first had a 120Hz screen in 2012, would not go back to 60Hz. So much smoother and fluid for gaming, at least when using the mouse and keyboard.
Too bad about the music they replaced, half assed package tbh. May as well just play the originals.. or mod the original music back in.
Soldier of Fortune 2 had better gore in 2002, looks an interesting game but if all the environments are dark and enclosed like that I can feel maybe it will get boring quickly.
It's ok if you're on a tight budget and are playing 1080p 60fps or so, otherwise 3060Ti is the best budget card these days. Next gen around the corner, 4080 callin' my name for those high fps.
Responsiveness comes from 4k (small file) reads, this is why you see little/no difference on drives today than from years ago if talking about load times and snappiness, the big numbers you see on packaging are for big file transfers.
This is why if you look up Intel Optane 900 or 905 drives, they give better load times in games because they still have much higher read speeds for small files. Even though the difference there is only small (couple of seconds?) it's proba...
