Staten has range. He also did writing for Sunset Overdrive.
"Kudos to Microsoft for still supporting the Xbox 360."
They've had nothing to say in regards to the 360 version of Ori and the Blind Forest, which was due for release this past Spring...
"Time for MS to dump loads of that mythical money on this developer's head to make a sequel to this game."
Just a little side note, as it wasn't Mistwalker who actually developed Lost Odyssey but rather feelplus.
History lesson. Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon and Infinite Undiscovery were all originally being developed in-house by Microsoft's Japanese studio but ended up being outsourced once the decision was made that the studio would be sh...
@pelenow
GwG/BC for BD and LO will be next to impossible since neither game has a Games on Demand (digital) version available on the Xbox marketplace, as they're both titles that span on multiple discs. It's the same reason why Infinite Undiscovery (another MS JRPG) hasn't been released in digital form.
The best hope is that MS decides to one day re-release these games on XB1 in a remastered form. Which would only seem plausible. Image LO & BD with zer...
That moreso has to do with the fact that the game was being run on an entirely different engine at the time and has switched middleware three times over the course of five years.
In all honesty, the switch to UE3 hasn't been kind to Devil's Third. Visually, the game looks like a last gen Xbox Original release. It looked superior in the 2010 build.
In a way, you could say that Devil's Third is this generation's Duke Nukem Forever.
The recent PS3/4 Godzilla game's SP can be completed in under 4hrs.
So all XB1 exclusives will make their way onto PC? Thought the goal here (in securing so many exclusives) was to try to sell hardware.
If that be the case, then Microsoft may as well just go ahead and make Windows 10 100% backwards compatible with the XB1.
Topped off with the fact that Alan Wake & American Nightmare never needed to be patched.
Yeah but an editor at Kotaku made an article (a week after singing the praises for the game) calling the gameplay dull and boring. Therefor, Quantum Break must suck. ;)
Hatsune Miku?! Heck, Microsoft won't even have to resort to third party in this instance. All they'd literally need to do is make a fullscale XB1 exclusive game (preferably action rpg) featuring Inori Aizawa and Hikaru Aizawa (their OS mascots) and the system would move thousands of units within a week.
Those OS-tan characters are crazy popular over in Japan. It's a travesty that MS hasn't branched them out into a wider medium and spectrum.
The irony surrounding Halo CE is that the game was initially rated a T but ESRB changed it to an M rating before the game launched, in light of the events of 9/11.
Phil's intelligent but he lacks common sense. He's the type of person who would walk in the middle of the street in a zombie infested area, proceed to wave at them while shouting "Hey, how's it going everyone?!!"
You don't see Valve big upping EA's Origin, much less Youtube upping Facebook for overtaking them in video views.
If he's that content on constantly expressing admiration to his rivals rather focusing on the task he ...
"A rushed game is forever bad...a delayed game is eventually good"
Ride to Hell & Duke Nukem Forever beg to differ.
What are you talking about? Only Crackdown 1 came with a Halo beta. Crackdown 2 and Project Sunburst never had any "Halo betas" so to speak.
Inti Creates (MN9 developers) and Comcept each have far more pressing matters at hand than to be bothered with something as frivolous and unimportant as MN9. Such as localizing Gal Gunvolt and taking care of Red Ash. :]
LOL. Talk about damage control. CoD is a running-on-fumes franchise which has been losing more and appeal with each installment (AW was down several million units from Ghosts).
Activision has been literally spending more and money each year on advertising just to try maintain the CoD audience, which hasn't grown. Why should MS pay millions for timed dlc on a series which they see is on it's last legs, when the content will hit their console/s regardless?
Microsoft owns Ori. It's one of their new 1st party IPs. Major Nelson is the one who even broke the news about the game getting a Definitive Edition today.
Speaking of editions, what the heck happened to the 360 version? Moon and MS both said that it was targeted for a Summer 2015 release. Will they just forgoe the original and release the DE as default?
How about focusing on getting that Mighty No. 9 done? You know. The crowdfunded game which was supposed to be released in September and then gets pushed back several months because you and Comcept claim you need more time to work out the bugs?
Surprised more people aren't talking about this. People constantly complain about Xbox lacking new or unique ips, yet
on the other side of their mouth's all they'll want to talk about is which XB1 exclusive MS should port to pc next.
Tekken Tag Tournament gets no love.
