Phil Spencer's done. Incredibly lackluster showcase. The schick of hyping up events and failing to deliver only to claim that you're holding back to show more at a later date (and even falling through on that end) has worn it's welcome.
They mentioned absolutely NOTHING about Series X/S price-point. The entire event was literally an advertisement for Xbox Game Pass/Ultimate.
Don't worry though. MS has much more to show and announce later ...
Phil speaking out both sides of his mouth again? Touche. In other news, the Earth revolves around the Sun.
So this game's entire selling point is that it's a first-person sci-fi rpg with some gnarly CAC features. BFD. How many of those features are actually going to ship with the game on release, as opposed to being locked behind a paywall? In fact, what's the entire plan with the pay-structure? FTP? Retail?
Until more details become unveiled, CP 2035 fails to impress.
Lol. The 360 Kinect game turned XB1 launch title?
Both look like computer peripherals. Series X looks like a speaker and PS5 looks like a modem.
Milked DR dry? Quite the contrary. Virtually every new ip or reboot Vancouver pitched over to Capcom Japan got shut down because the higher-up wanted the studio relegated to developing only DR.
Bro, you're getting licencing and copyright confused. Beyond and Detroit are both Sony properties, who Sony is granting licensing permission for QT to publish on PC. This is nothing new. Companies like MS, Square and Sega do this all the time.
Besides, is you visit Detroit's Steam page, you can clearly see the Sony copyright at the bottom of the page. https://store.steampower...
EA has had a history of doing this. Like releasing Crysis 3 and Dead Space 3 in the exact same friggin month. Then releasing Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel not even a full month afterwards.
You'd be surprised how far a fake nice smile can get you a pass.
It's Don Mattrick's fault.
Ironically, Kojima Productions were the ones responsible for the cut scenes in Twin Snakes. So all the Snake aerial backflips and cartwheels are their doing.
Exactly. Phil's flip-flopping is astounding. First (at the beginning of 8th Gen) he says that single player games are pretty much dead and aren't Xbox's main priority. Yet, when he sees how much success Sony has had with single player driven games this gen, he now states that they are very crucial to Xbox's future.
If Series X flops at launch, expect people to try to spin at as somehow being Don Mattrick's fault.
Tekken x Street Fighter
Sony, quit messing around and bring back the Siren franchise.
Capcom's had a history 8th Gen with RE games running better (at launch, at least) on lesser hardware, for some reason. I.E., Revelation 2's framerate on vanilla PS4 running at times at nearly a fraction of that compared to vanilla Xbox One's, until it was patched.
Capcom's gonna Capcom.
Detroit and Beyond Two Souls are both Sony properties, as is Death Stranding.
Coming to Switch, PS4, nVidia Shied and N-Gage.
Gameplay looks just like Brotherhood of Violence 2.
You're missing the point. They didn't announce when they were going to announce the prices. All they said was that they had more to show for later this year. Whatever the heck that means.
