Not to mention turning their classic franchises into pachinko slots.

Own Trine 2. Wasn't even aware their was a third installment in the series, up until this announcement.

SFV could have been released on XB1 and performed much better than it has to date. See what I did there?

Well, it's pretty safe to assume they won't be dumb enough to invest millions of dollars into a useless Udraw tablet. That's for sure.

I'll believe it when MS starts acquiring some solid Japanese studios. It's been the same song and dance for years. Amazing how MS acquires multiples studios across NA and Europe but zero in Asia or Japan.
Do they even have any plans on attending TGS this year?

Wouldn't be surprised if the guy plagiarized his apology response video as well.

They probably feel that by making it an XB1 exclusive, it'll stand out more, as opposed to being lost in the the plethora of JRPGs being released for PS4 and Switch.
Let's be honest with ourselves. Would any of us have even cared about this game had it not been for the fact that its an XB1 exclusive? A genuine exclusive (no play anywhere bs) at that?

Wouldn't be opposed to a remaster of The Ancient Gates. The loading screens and frame rates were breathtaking in many instances. It kinda ruined the immersion in what was a fairly solid action role playing adventure.

Someone turn this into an actual film, if not, web series.

@BiggerBoss
Lol. Sony never pushed for crossplay between PSN and XBL 7th Gen. They allowed for Steamworks to be implemented on PSN. MS didn't allow Steamworks on XBL because they had their own format with GFW at the time. Big difference.

Xboxers shouldn't complain that they're getting a game a year overdue and lacking a physical release?

Yoshida was damage controlling with that remark due to the lukewarm reception that Sony's E3 presser got. Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo all have unannounced exclusive projects in development. The real question is how far along in development are they to be showcased to the public.
Besides, what would be the point in announcing that you've got exclusive unannounced titles, unless you're salvaging them for either Gamescon or TGS?

Not surprising coming from Treyarch. They pulled the same stunt with the 7th Gen versions of BO3.

Love how you're omitting the fact that Square Enix announced months in advance (to RotTR launching on XB1) that the game would also be coming to PS4. As if that move didn't impact sales of the XB1 version and influence would-be buyers.

Totally agree. There should have been an N-Gage port.

That two billion that MS spent on buying Mojang (not just Minecraft) was a prime reason as to why a handful of their studios and projects had gotten axed shortly after. Compensation.

Finally gonna get back to work on that abandoned ShangHeist project, eh?
