EA now owned by The Saudis and Ubisoft to inevitably be owned by China. In hindsight, once EA and Ubisoft started having their financial woes, they should have pulled a Koei Tecmo/Bandai Namco by merging their operations into one.

Very crazy times we're living in. There was once upon a time where Ubisoft was such a powerful entity, that when EA tried doing a hostile takeover of the company, it took the French Government stepping in and intervening.

Now fast-forward a little over twenty years later, one company (EA) is owned by The Saudis and the other (Ubisoft) is slowly being gobbled up by China.

LOL. This is like the third time the game's been delayed this year. It was originally slated for release back in July. TeamKill Media needs to stop releasing these gameplay trailers with announce dates, only to keep pushing it back by another month or two.
It's pretty obvious (judging by the most recent trailer) that the game still needs more time in the oven.

For what it's worth, the game is selling fairly well across GOG and Itch.io.

Not to mention the protection when he had The Coalition's new ip Shangheist/Project Ranger canceled in favor of churning out more Gears installments.

The guy's a walking contradiction. Now, Ed Fries, that's a guy who was genuinely about innovation and creative gaming development.

Yet, Nintendo's been consistently having the strongest 1st party software sales out of the three (i.e. MS & Sony) despite having the weakest hardware. Mainly attributed to the fact that their games are truly exclusive to their consoles.

The price of making your business publicly traded. Even if you're an indie developer, the moment you take your company public, is when you're beholden to investors and expected to release products which they deem as profitable.

The main differences between AW2 and FBC Firebreak, is that AW2 is a game that Remedy wanted to make, whereas FBC wasn't.

Jaffe's a bitter, wash-up, lolcow who constantly argues the contrary for the sake of arguing and bashes anything which he sees as potentially successful which doesn't go with his line of thinking.

He's pretty much a grifter.

Would have much preferred this over Gears 4, quite honestly. It's sounds like the Syphon Filter people have been clamoring for ages from Sony to revive.

Hopefully they're basing the remake on the 99 original, as opposed to the walking simulator that was Shattered Memories.

He wants to see them revived only to have them canceled during mid-development (i.e. Phantom Dust, Perfect Dark, etc.)

DOA. The GP price hikes were already getting ridiculous. Anything over $20 (imo) for any streaming based service is too high in this current economy. MS has been doing alot of shady stuff as of late (i.e. killing off support for Wins 10 and trying to force people to pay for continued security updates) Satya Nadella and Phil Spencer suffering from delusions of grandeur.

MS' greed is showing no ends. People need to start taking a stand and literally start voting with the...

Having Samus riding a motorcycle, is like Superman operating a fighter jet.

Did they finally implement melee attacks?

The dev who was making the offensive comments wasn't a guy, it was actually a female.

Main issue that many have taken with the lead developer on the game seems to stem from the fact that he seemingly turned a blind eye to the controversy up until pre-order figures started being effected (many started canceling). To which then, he finally removed the controversial team member.

Miss the days when paying a mere $10 to $20 extra for a collector's edition would nab you a steelbook case, an artbook, a soundtrack/making of dvd, a dlc voucher and (sometimes) even a figurine.

Not really. It's a barebones port with no enhanced visuals or graphical fidelity.
