I think we need to have a warning system for politicians.

Warning: This building may contain assholes who have too much power and enjoy making shit up so they can have infinite terms in office and enjoy the platinum health care package and free car for as long as they possibly can.
Also, they tend to like to destroy your ability to be free productive citizens and claim it's for your own good. Which, the ...
In Batman for NES, when it took me an hour to figure out the wall jump technique, I really wanted to rape someone...with my fist.
I don't care what Sony says, I'm not calling it the NGP. It's the PSP2.
And it is pretty impressive.
See, here's the thing...
Does everybody that likes to read books, like to read sci-fi? Does everybody that likes to watch TV, like to watch CSI? Does everybody that likes to go to a movie, like to see action movies?
The answer to all these questions is no.
Figure it out games industry. You can't be all things to all people, because than you are nothing to most.
People who want to experience games like CoD, wil...
By that logic, you are saying that the sales of CoD is a result of its superiority over a game like Dragon Age.
Also, by that logic, Saw3D was a better movie than Event Horizon... No way.
Of course Snake-eater, that's a given, but even if you update your hardware only every 3-5 years -which I would say is about the right sweet spot for most, you have created a compelling argument for PC gaming in general. My god, if you already have a computer that you bought in the last 3 or 4 years, you could slap a $150.00 graphics card in it and have yourself a pretty nice setup.
I'm not sure why anybody would disagree with me questioning your exaggerated stateme...
Why not have it set in the distant past where a race of immortal Antediluvians have subjugated a proto-human civilization? Why not make it interesting and throw in some Nazi zombies that get bitten by the Antediluvians and create zombie vampires that create time travel, go even further into the past to before the Antediluvians were immortal and blow them up with an atom bomb attached to a V-2 rocket, simply because they are time traveling Nazi zombie vampires.
That should s...
To be blunt, there is more to the games industry than shooters period.
New specs... every week... how often do you think the average PC gamer updates their hardware? I'm just curious what you think that number is...
I'm not really sure what people are disagreeing with here... oh well, that's the internet for you.
I would like for it to end. Please.
I understand if that is not what any of you want, but that's what I want.
All standard traditional media sources are to be taken with a grain of salt in my opinion. They are all created and run by human beings and human beings have motives and agendas. Period.
Mostly, when it comes to video games, their agenda is to blame and attach unrelated meaning to things. Also, to scare parents.
I don't know about Bulletstorm, but I'm pretty sure this is:
Try selling that idea to a publisher and they will probably laugh at you. DLC has become a viable income stream and they will never let that go... ever. Unless... people stop buying it.
If you had a product that took you 20 million dollars and 3 years to produce and you could create additional content for that same product at 1/50th the cost and 1/6th of time and realize more profit, wouldn't you do it?
As to the pre-order bonuses, like I was saying,...
Agreed. But, it's the way things are done.
It works in their favor for several reasons:
The more pre-orders they have, the better they can predict how successful the launch will be overall.
They make the maximum amount of money off of the sales that happen the first few months.
The higher the pre-order numbers, the more they can justify a future sequel or spin-off.
Since all these things are t...
I would very much like that.
For the most part, from my experience, most games that I have played on PC in the last 10 years have pretty much worked from day one installation, without patching. Usually, the most you have to do is occasionally update your system drivers (sound, graphics, ect) and install patches if there is a bug of some kind or to improve performance. However, like Pandamobile said, all of that happens on consoles now. They patch games after they are released on consoles for various reasons as well. Som...
I'm looking at possibly getting a GTX 560 TI. It's odd, because it feels a lot like the same situation when I bought my current 8800GTS 512...
That has to do with a physical handicap, not the desire to do something... But, I understand. I just don't think it applies. Most people that liked to play sports, still like to shoot hoops or do whatever, as much as their health and body will allow. The desire or interest is not something you grow out of, but it can become more difficult as time goes on... much like finding the time to do anything the older you get... at least until you retire and have more free time, I suppose.
Ah... many of those things you listed are either Democrat talking points or general political power games to control our lives and keep them in office by playing us off one another.
