Don't know about the US market but in my market the 360 doesn't exist anymore it's just PS3 and Wii.
Hell PS3 packs get bundled with mobile phone plans.
Say MS sold 40 million 360's if they removed the RRODed number from the overall amount we'll say 35%.
that's a loss of 14 million 360's from the market.
So really the 360 only has around 26 million consoles in the market place.
MS doesn't do that yet it should as their total market is really smaller than what they say it is.

And it's only for the 1st and 2nd gen PS3's and again only does the OtherOS side of things, which currently doesn't allow PS3 games to run.

I played and finished all their games, years ago.
All those companies have delayed games, GTA4 was delayed, FF13 has been delayed.
EA, have delayed games.
overall I'm not fussed if it's delayed as not date has really been given anyway so far Japan got a march release but that's a month not a set day release date.
GT5 has all that in fact they released the new WRX 2009 model in GT5:prologue as the car was unveiled in real life at the Japan car show, you could see the car name but it was under a cover then at the exact same time in real life the cover peals off allowing you to fully look around the model/car and you can use it in game.
Real nice way of unveiling cars in a game, the WRX wasn't the only car to be released in this way in GT5:P.

PD have a video of all the stuff they do for each car on GT5 prologue, they put the car in a 3D imaging box scan the car, then record the sounds idle at different speeds braking speed up, then use GPS stats for the pyshics with in the engine.
They keep each car for a month before they are finished with it.
They do more than simply re-skin and record sounds.
That video goes for 10mins.

Europe is actually the largest Gaming market.
The US and Japan don't see the European market as the largest which is the reason why the focus on the US market only.
Natal won't do much really who's really going to try and snipe people in your beloved Halo with natal? it'll end up being a causal gamers toy on the 360.

The Eye toy has done all that, it's been out on PS2 for years.

In Australia ever since the PS3 upped to 120gig HDD we also have 250gig PS3 on sale for about $50 extra, both come in shop bundles.
The PS3 is sold out in many shops even though it's dearer than the 360 elite.
I put this more down to the fact that the shops can make a heap of extra cash out of a PS3 bundle sale than the 360 and Wii.
(1 shop has 6 PS3 bundles each one different and come with at least 3-4 games it's controllers and remotes etc that change ...
All stuff only got removed because people whinged about the overall price then whinged about how the PS3 had:
1) too many USB ports I think 2 is too low
2) Had a card reader like whats the utter point of that even though it let you buy a SD card and use it as a memory stick between machines or cameras etc.

That why it's generally called a beta your suppose to give return feed back to the Devs as the whole engine etc will have been beta tested they'll just be after online stats and other effects and things that can/should be tweaked.
Betas aren't meant to be el cheapie or freebie demos of full games.
XBox isn't a threat MS is a threat as they don't play ball they try to cut so many corners it's not funny.
Look at what they have done with the 360 buy out what 20 game devs drop ALL game devs bar 1 (Peter Monylex) and then buy out other games from the competetion.
This will be the second time they have done this the first with the XBox itself.

An ISP in Australia (well a couple) already send SD TV via their network and they started at 1meg download speeds only on cable modems but it still had a slight choppens to it so they've upped to speeds to 3meg download speed and it's only now doing SD TV shows like a TV signal.
The shows are streamed as 1meg streams but the bandwidth really required is so much higher as the choppiness comes from when not enough data can but sent download the line to keep ahead of the stream buff...
is the security code required for bluray don't have that, you can't output it.
I couldn't see 1080i working as that has 2 framed merged together, where as 1080P displays 1 full frame at a time.
So you'd need 1080P to display a full frame of the two pictures merged together.
DC Universe Online is already out in the euro countries been out for a month or 2 already, downloadbale on PSN as well I think I haven't checked into too majorly.
Eyepet is the same deal already out but comes as a bundle with the game / camera plus some freebie in game stuff plus the freebies on PSN for it as well as payable stuff.
