All the videos I've seen on the net of Forza 3 have stuttering in them and it's only just come up now?
Other thing why is that car always understeering it never hits the apex properly and in the end the guy is jumping up and down on the brakes just to force the car around the corner so it's not in the ditch on the other side of the corner even though it's in the ditch anyway.
And where's the damage seeing is smashing into the other cars who help him around the corner...
Run GT5:P on a TruHD TV and you'll see the differance but it's always been like that, the 360 can't really do anything above 720P so a HD TV will be more than enough for a 360.
Where as on the PS3 you really need a 1080P/TrueHD TV to get the most out of the viewing pleasure out of the PS3.
After that its people with PS3's using options that are really meant for Plasma TVs when they have a LCD TV, the PS3 has seprate options for giving a better picture on a Plasma and...
The Froza 3 production manager said it in the video.
that I guess you didn't bother to watch...
GT5 cars are around 350,000 polys per model.
humm, I think it might be higher as the GT5 people are saying all 40+ cars can be seen in the nascar races.
Some video has shown 20 to 40 cars on screen in some videos from shows but I don't know if those are movies or the game.
However I couldn't see Froza3 being better than GT5 or GT games in general as Froza cars have such horrid handling, that I wonder what they base the car stats upon I mean a 1950's Mini has better handling than the supercars in Froza games
It's probably just all the trailers and screen shots over the last 6 months.
Yes that would have to be correct I think.
The GT5:P? screen shot is far far too old looking.
Though you've got to love Forza 3 roads with canyon cracks all over the road, which isn't realistic at all.
Then most of the textures will be done with some shadowing as this eases the processing on the CPU and GPU.
And none of the movie studios want DVD.
As from 2010 they stop producing DVDs.
Sony is a content provider which is great for a console as they can provide their own games as well as allow others to provide games.
MS isn't a content provider it got rid of all of that stuff for the 3rd time last year to try and save cash, stockholders arn't interested in keeping the 360 platform going for them it's a waste of money, it's only a matter of time before a new CEO is forced in and it's removed and they re-group on windows and office their core business which has ...
If they turned off the super white option it wouldn't like like their TV has the contrast turned right up.
In fact I think that option is only for plasma TVs as they have a problem displaying small patches of white inside other patches of colour.
Also the other isuse is the 360 doing the game in full res modes that wouldn't be the case if the PS3 only has 720P as the res mode and the 360 can't do 1080P anyway, so I'd be questioning the whole review process anyway.
Bill Gates doesn't work at MS anymore you'd be talking about balmer these days.
You do understand that MS have never kept a game dev longer than 3 years has been repated at least 3 times now.
Loinhead will get disbanded as well probably next year having MS as a game dev has always been a waste of time, really they should leave the market all together.
So far MS had devs they got closed down, now you expect MS to keep EA around just for the 360, lol.
Nar, I'd say it's a case of them not wanting to dump a heap of servers towards it at the start when people leave after a month and everything evens out anyway and then have to remove servers due to people left.
That's what happened to WarHammer, it's not dead just went from 60+ server to around 20 to 25 servers as the demand for 60+ servers just wasn't there.
I have a pre order but havn't used the beta or anything as it won't start up keeps saying a 2nd cleint can't...
The tech... the 360 is really old tech.
it's not really offering anything of worth to the Japanese, as an example what is coming out in the USA now as cutting edge or really new, probably came out in Japan about a year or 2 ago.
At the start of 2009 their shops stopped selling DVD players as Blue-Ray players are the in thing now.
I find it funny that people could think the HD TV/Gaming sector would be tiny as Japan was the first country to sell HD TVs an...
1) Australia is actually slightly larger than USA in land mass.
2) The world's largest city is townsville in Australia you could fit probably 10 US states into that 1 city and it got expanded again at the start of the year, so you could fit in more states.
Hell there's medium sized farms in Australia that can easily fit 4-5 US sates inside them and you'd only have 5-10 people running that 1 farm.
Anyway L4D 2 isn't exactly on my games radar anyway neither was t...
I haven't had any problems with FW3.00 I found it speed up games.
So the problems could be in people's mind or very minor.
Alas though new firmware updates come on game disks and thus PS3's will get updated anyway when people play the latest games on their PS3.
The grey boxes are only there so you can see the text/font when you have a background where it's the same colour as the text.
This has been done on Windows icons etc so you can see the text, as well.
Overall I couldn't imagine that XMB working too well as you'd need to grab the data for all friends before it'll list up anything and when you go to look at a frined close up would need to grab more data/pictures to display everything.
Just think of having 2...
Valve's so called hardcore fans? would only be 360 owners.
They are shall I say new to Valve where as PC owners are old and have known Valve for around 15 years.
So 360 owners don't really know all that much about the history of Valve and always use orange box as Valve's first release where as it's more like the 10th or later release and on top of that the orange box's games are old old games that got released on the pc back in 1998 so it's not exactly a whole new ne...
Shows 1 of the most glaring problems with Froza 3 but Froza in general.
Every car in it under steers way too much, A 4wd raised can hold a driving line better than the cars in Froza games, and I can't figure out why that is the case, surely they drive real cars don't they? and surely they would have some idea as that how well a car will hold it's line.
If you look at the real cars on top gear they will be doing a good 120MPH around a corner and then have to really fo...
Ford here, have more hories than what holden put out always.
At Autosaloon seen a stock ford ute blow away a holden ute with extrators/exhuast, intake, and chipped.
The ford was 5HP faster than the holden on the dyno.
Bloody funny hearing the holden owner say blow the motor don't care anymore, then pulling out hair because his ute just didn't have the go.
I don't know why people are whinging about the release time, when the time frame on all the GT games have been around 4 years for a release.
