every time i think of a physically released game now my mind flashes to those tv commercials of all the plastic waste floating in the oceans and washing up on beaches.
disagree. its a completely different game than it was a launch. its more interesting story-wise, visually and gameplay wise than most games coming out lately. I think its biggest problem is that it was financially pressure launched due to so many delays during a time when people are absolutely intolerant and critical of most things and are completely happy canceling those things (or people) when things don't go perfectly. its hypocritical, petty and immature.
CDPR was b...
so pretty much the same, but the series x has some small frame rate advantage and VRR and the ps5 version doesn't have VRR.
having played the. game on both systems now I would agree with this. I'd also say the series x version does look a hair cleaner/sharper but its minimal.
agreed. its pretty shitty actually.
good.
i think pretty much everybody working anywhere is worried about AI taking over at this point.
digital humans, deep fakes, speech synthesis, graphic design, animation, art, drivers, pilots, developers, writers... you name it. the only people that will be safe will be hospitality type jobs, but everyone will be so broke no one will be able to afford to use them... and then they'll go under too... ooof. bleak.
no stability updates?? ;)
not related but... just looking at the picture of the ps4 makes me relalize how much cooler and sleeker, minimal and oddly still more modern that design is over the ps5 design. what a beautiful design the ps4 has.
its actually at a 62 on metacric which would mean the vast majority of reviews are in the 6s. maybe thats what they mean by polarization. the ppl that don't like it think its worse than it is and the people that like it are just trying to defend it. i think its worth about a 6 personally speaking.
well... probably should have made a better game. I'm not one of these people that reviews things as its either a 1 or a 10, amazing or horrible, only playstaion or only xbox. i try to be objective and informed when it comes to forming my opinions.
so with that being said, i was one of the people looking forward to Saints Row (especially with gta VI so far out). I pre-ordered it just assuming it would at least be good, if not great. When it launched i was admittedly dis...
Great time for Gamepass lately.
Admittedly I am confident this game will make me uncomfortable, but I’m still fascinated by it and can’t wait to try it
heh kinda cool. as a resident of los angeles i can say we certainly have all types of people here.
nice. played it on ps5 and it is in fact a great game imo. i find the dialog and voice acting hilarious. i installed it on my series x mostly to see how it compared to the ps5 version (i have gamepass so its a risk free curiosity) but then it made me want to play through it again - especially with the golden loop update... so i'll do a second pass on the xbox version. looks and runs great. pretty much the same as the ps5 version including all graphics modes. it does feel ever so slightly ...
the irony....
truly impressive
Considering the amount of monetization of both games, I’d say they’re both in a race to the bottom
Yup. Just as I suspected. Still not interested after reading this. Maybe even less so if that’s possible
i think its f***ed up. it bums our the designers, the devs, the marketing people, its expensive, disappointing and completely a dick move. I personally will avoid all leaks as i don't want the release spoiled.
and if you're one of those ppl that says things like "RoCkSTar DeSErve it! tHey CharGe ToO mUCh aNd KeEp ReLeAsing the same GAmE" well - 1) so do others and 2) you don't have to buy them. No one is torching car dealerships cuz they don't like...
Pretty lame.
i hope they are collaborating with Soft Serve and will do a soft launch in the US.
