Sigh another vr port. Where are all the new, big, crazy Sony extravaganza games that I bought this thing for? GT7 still remains one of the few reasons to buy this headset. Otherwise you can play most of these games on any vr setup.

You know what has a bigger install base than the ps5? The ps5 and series x install base combined. Throw in pc and it’s huge.

Your sales numbers are your fault. Not the install base’s. Square Enix has done nothing but make stupid, baffling decisions lately and their loyalty pledge to PlayStation apparently is severely limiting the revenue and coverage they could clearly benefit from.

This is the game I have spent the most time on in psvr2. It’s fantastic. It also highlights my problem with psvr2. This game is also awesome on the Quest 2, the og PSVR and various other vr platforms. It’s a badass game and I love it… but I didn’t spend almost $600 to play games I’ve already played for nearly identical experiences. This is unfortunately the majorly of psvr2 games. Don’t get me wrong, they’re some gems but… it’s not a must have.

I’d def be down for that. I’d rather a new game altogether but a rebuild would still be good.

Spaceship is the primary character. There economies and typical rpg style upgrade paths etc.

Oh badass! Ive wondered if this was ever gonna make the jump. Haven’t played in a minute but have fond memories of everspace in general. Would be cool to have console crossplay (and the ability to turn or pc crossplay :) )

I keep telling you guys, physical sales are down year over year. You can hate that fact as much as you want, but it doesn’t make it less true, and I’m simply a messenger. There’s no true need for it anymore other than for largely superficial reasons amongst some consumers. I mean the disc is largely garbage the second you do that day 1 patch anyway so….

Ryan had more negotiating leverage at the beginning when he was more of a threat to the deal. He could have gotten more out of the deal. Instead he chose to act like a child and went nuclear war. This is completely his own fault as now MS has the power for negotiations and they’re probably not thrilled with how he behaved and are less inclined to be flexible.

As for the fans, despite how it feels, most ppl don’t actually follow the gaming industry and just simply play games...

I’m confident JR could have originally negotiated a better deal with more titles, but he chose to act like a spoiled brat, went nuclear war instead and lost. Now he has to accept whatever deal he gets… which is obv gonna be less good bc now MS doesn’t need to negotiate and they’re probably now intentionally sticking it to Sony for trying to tank the deal altogether.

Maybe Jim Ryan should have taken the deal he was pitched rather than the deal he had to settle with after losing in court.

LMAO could have just done that months ago and spared us the theater (and tax dollars)

Amen to that. Looking forward to starfield, forza ms, marathon and Alan wake II. Finally some games I’m actually interested in.

I bet now after the ftc loss and the court refusing the ftc’s request to pause the acquisition, MS will go ahead and close the deal to meet their deadline before offer expires (on the 18th) which enables both parties to walk away. I don’t think either of them want that.

In regards to the CMA still on hold, I would assume they would just skip that market until they could come to an agreement. In the bigger picture, the Uk Isn’t a huge market relatively speaking, and it probably ...

Lol the irony that an api technology that MS employed on the series x is what makes it possible to play ratchet and clank on pc when everyone was saying the ps5 ssd was a differentiator. The series x ssd is in fact slower but these APIs all work together (known as velocity architecture) to get comparable performance while leaving you with a bigger system drive for the same cost.

well now the CMA and the FTC both look pretty foolish. and that's not me rooting for Xbox, this is coming from career legal professionals both involved with and watching from the sidelines.

you need the full context to understand the relationship of the data. its not presented here.

whelp. im sure after the latest court ruling MS is happy w/ those numbers. Also points out why Xbox would be stupid by removing COD from playstation and probably never even considered it as it would eat a huge chunk of the revenue they wanted to capture. obviously Jim Ryan was never actually worried about it either. he was just worried about "something", but didn't actually know what and just chose to block. so your tax dollars paid for that pointless showdown.

Because they don’t hate it and still get paid. Ppl seem to think that bc you can download a game for free that developers aren’t getting paid. They are, and the game isn’t free. You’re still paying a monthly fee. With some rough estimated napkin math, that’s at least minimum $180 per person per year x 120 million users and you’re looking at ~ $2.2B(ish) just in subscription revenue which helps pay publishers on Gamepass. That’s probably on the low side. This doesn’t even include other revenue...
