it actually wasn't cg tho. it was running in engine, intercut with moments of gameplay. pretty impressive.
Lol but if it was Xbox game it would just be that it sucks, right? But since its ps5 game there are “reasons” it didn’t sell as much. Got it. And yes I know the game reviewed well. I contemplated buying it myself, but in the end just don’t play FF.

I never once felt that. What I saw were apologies and tons of rapid patches leading to an eventually good game. You can be mad at a studio for screwing something up, but if they fix it and show transparency, then the hang up is then on you. Get over it.

Ok but the FTCs job is to protect consumers, not prevent ceos from getting wealthy. Whether you like him or not ( I think he’s scum) the FTCs job is to simply prevent monopolies, and in this case, making Kotick money has nothing to do with whether consumers will have less choice or whether ps will be damaged in the market.

Hmm have to check it out. Been waiting for a reason to actually use mine for something other than gt7. Not really into all the cute little vr games that seem to dominate the lineup.
It’s a cool idea but the lack of functionality makes it completely useless to anyone who already has a smartphone or a tablet. Even if it could be tethered to a hotspot and run cloud streaming while you’re on the train or at lunch at work or something would make this way more useful imo. I feel like this thing will either flop or end up being cancelled when the public feedback loop starts getting loud.
I pretty much feel exactly the same and made all the same points. This thing is DOA…. Just like that psTV box they tried to put out that was like a super halfassed, super locked up and limited box that was basically a ps vita for your tv that couldn’t play games or use most content streaming services.
All they would need to do to make this even moderately more attractive is add the ability to stream from cloud services and not just a ps5. I mean I’m already doing what this ...

I like to keep my expectations low for pretty much everything. if you put too much hope on an upcoming release, you will almost surely always be disappointed. It's not different than overhyping a game publicly, just internally.
That being said, I am looking forward to this title and seeing more. What I've seen so far surely looks extremely impressive, and intriguing, but that's all the more reason I don't wanna put too much energy into it til its closer to l...
hmm... I dunno if this is a good idea. there are a lot of VR options on PC and while PSVR2 is the best VR headset for consoles right now, it's not at all the best headset for PC. Also in addition to those, the Quest headsets already support PC as well and some might argue that if you didn't have a ps5, a Quest is still a better buy because they can run their own self-contained platform in addition to the PC. I guess this makes sense if you game on both PC and PS5 and just want one sin...

It's not the correct site link and the story itself is garbage and says practically nothing other than Sony had a poorly redacted doc and then they asked for it not to be submitted. that's the story. They aren't even saying that Sony tried to use this as a tactic, just that it was in a doc that was removed.
This is the only thing I agree with Jim Ryan on here. I don't think the Switch is a true console. It's a handheld that can be plugged into a tv. sorry. Other than that I think Jim Ryan has largely acted like a spoiled, hypocritical child through this whole thing and quite honestly doesn't have a leg to stand on when you consider his own actions with the business end of playstation.
