You're welcome! Best of luck and enjoy - it's a fantastic challenging game.
Haha indeed. By surviving Bloodborne we mean making it through without hurting yourself, your controller or the disc in a blind rage. Your character will most certainly die. Repeatedly.
Never heard Harvest Moon described in that way! Video games are all about escapism for me. Sometimes a cathartic release from blasting people and blowing up things is what you need; other times it's a pleasure to just unwind in a utopian world.
Variety is the spice of gaming after all...or however the expression goes.
Generally the nature of Tower defence really. Plants vs Zombies is repetitive but still hasn't stopped me sinking nearly 100 hours into it :D
Love a good tower defense game on mobile, and particularly good to hear that there's good end-game content!
I usually find any healing boss super difficult and frustrating. Vicar Amelia in Bloodborne early doors...grr nearly gave up on the game entirely such was the brutality.
With you there. It's an Ancel project so my interest is definitely piqued.
Brings back memories of uni days :) Did once punch a wall I got so frustrated. Was either that or destroy a controller. Fortunately I didn't break anything, but unfortunately it was a solid brick wall and my knuckles hurt like s*** afterwards!
Yep I agree. Have the latest Bond films even attempted game tie-ins? Not that I'm aware of. So much potential in the brand.
Goldeneye has already had one remake don't forget ;) Often forgotten though admittedly
Missing the enchanting music and vibrant visuals of Disney games completely at odds with the punishing difficulty? :)
No way! There's always room for an arcade racer if it's fun, fast and...errr...fun!
Huge kudos for Burnout 3: Takedown - pumped so many hours into that awesome game in my childhood. Ecco the Dolphin was an absolute gem as well. Great list!
Never heard of this, but looks like the ultimate "party" game - would make for an excellent stream as well! :D
Agree that if the depth is there, "casual" games can be as casual or hardcore as the player wants them to be. Mashed is a "casual" racing game, but one of the best local multuiplayer games that has ever existed because it's so easy to pick-up-and-play.
A good thing for publishers but we gamers are just being taken for a ride. Unfortunately the majority seem to fall for it :(
Time to start counting down the days :)
It's well worth a look. I think many critics have accentuated it's flaws because it's another open-world game in a saturated market and because it's not particularly "sophisticated". It's consistently great fun though, and surely that's what matters!
Had a bash of this at Insomnia 55 - was riotous entertainment. Solid local co-op games are few and far between these days.
Well said. Numbers 1 and in particular 10 in the list are absolutely key.
