Yeah, Arkham Origins gets a lot of undue hate. But gamers love joining hate bandwagons for some reason. Origins was a solid game in my opinion and just because Rocksteady didn't develop it, that doesn't mean it's not a good game.
Still haven't got around to buying/playing it. I'll probably end up playing Witcher 2 first since it was free on Xbox. I'm not gonna lie though, the game's length is kinda intimidating.
My top 5 in no order are:
1. Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance
2. Ghost Recon Future Soldier
3. Vanquish
4. Assassin's Creed Rogue
5. Mass Effect 3
That's the Xbox 360 version of Rise of Tomb Raider. Enough of the Xbox One bashing, it's getting old.
Yeah Gears Judgment definitely has some frame rate issues on Xbox One, esp. when you fight waves of enemies in campaign mode, the amount of enemies on the screen can cause the frame rate to be all over the place. I was still able to play through it though, you just have to ignore the occasional hiccups.
Max Payne 3 was a good game. You guys are idiots. NOT EVERY GAME has to be exactly like it's predecessors. That's the problem with gamers. Stop complaining every time a developer decides to switch things up, esp. when the product turns out as good as Max Payne 3.
You guys are like, it's not dark like the other ones. WHO GIVES A SH_T. Is the game any good? That is the only thing that should matter. I don't know why you guys want the same games over and over any...
Yeah that was the only one I didn't get.
It's because people want the same thing over and over and when ever a company actually decides to switch it up, Gamers complain about how the new entry isn't like the old entries. If you want creativity, you have to support indie games or smaller developers.
I wouldn't mind a slim Xbox One, although I'm okay with it's current size. The only reason why I'd want a slimmer Xbox One is because it would make it easier to carry my Xbox from place to place. But seeing as I rarely take my Xbox places, I don't see an immediate need for a smaller system.
When is Xbox gonna announce the backwards compatible games for January? I mean we are already over half way through the month.
I agree. I played the first 2 games and loved them. I never got around to playing Lightning Returns but perhaps I will play it if Square Enix allows it to be backwards compatible on Xbox One. I think the series got a lot of undue hate. A lot of people judge games on the past entries in the series instead of on the game's own merits. Final Fantasy XIII reminds me of MGS V:The Phantom Pain. Both are great games that got great scores, but for some reason because they aren't like the old ...
The difference between the consoles' graphics and resolution is so small and negligible that it't not even worth mentioning. Fanboys just make it seem like a big deal as a way of differentiating two incredibly similar consoles.
Cool Story. I'd much rather have the console that continues to get new features, multiplayer exclusives, and new IPs than the console that is "popular".
They might have sold less but they still appeal to a wider audience of people. Also Bloodborne is on PS4 which has a higher install base and Bloodborne had been out months before the titles you mentioned released.
Heck No. I beat the game and GTA IV is a really long and repetitive game. Definitely not worth the time and effort to remaster it. They should just let it be available via Xbox One Backwards Compatibility as the graphics still hold up alright.
Xbox One is constantly having features added, so I have no doubt this feature will arrive in the future. It's probably just low on the priority list. That being said, Sony fanboys need to get off their high horse. Sony still doesn't even allow you to change your PSN name.
I personally subscribe to Amazon Prime just because of all the benefits it has. Amazon Prime has free 2-day shipping, free 2hour shipping in certain markets, 20% off all new games/pre-orders, Amazon Video, free e-books, early access to lightning deals on their site, Amazon music, etc.
If you want just a discount for games go with Best Buy, but if you want the best overall package, I would highly recommend Amazon Prime.
I thought I was alone. I really thought The Last of Us was incredibly overrated. I mean the story was decent, but the gameplay was nothing new. In fact the gameplay reminded me too much of Uncharted, which isn't surprising because it's made by the same people as Uncharted. I mean TLOU is a good game, but I don't think it's worthy of the 10 out of 10s it was getting. Some people were calling it the greatest game of this generation and that is just flat out ridiculous. But even ...
I mean this is what happens when you are so Anti-Microsoft/Anti-Nintendo and you try and make Sony a monopoly. Now that Sony has such a big sales lead, you can expect more stuff like this to happen. You see the grass is not always greener on the other side.
I like Arkham Knight. My only complaints were the STUPID RIDDLER Missions and the overuse of the Batmobile in boss battles. The Batmobile was a great addition to the series, BUT it felt like too big of a part of the game at times. The graphics were great, the story was great, and the combat was great. And like others have said I wish there were more hand to hand/on-foot boss battles like in previous games.
