I mean GTA IV and V technically came out in the same gen and GTA V didn't use a subtitle.
On one hand I have to agree. The graphical leap from the previous generation has been somewhat mediocre. At the same time, it's expensive to build a gaming PC that can play games at 4K or that is VR ready. Microsoft and Sony would lose a lot of money trying to make high-end PC equivalents. I mean a high end processor and graphics card is gonna is at least 300 bucks a piece.
Definitely gonna buy this game on PS Vita. This game series is underrated in my opinion and very addicting.
Perhaps PS4 owners should buy the upgraded Xbox One and Xbox One owners should buy the upgraded PS4. That way you have both consoles and you don't feel like you are rebuying something you already have.
I'll never understand why people say they didn't like Gears of War Judgment. It reminds me of Batman Arkham Origins, in that both are prequels that people hated on, but those titles are actually pretty good games.
That being said, I loved Ultimate Edition and I can't wait for Gears 4 because I already know both the single player and multiplayer are gonna be dope.
Yeah, Wolfenstein was a surprisingly good game. A lot of people miss out on great games like this, so that they can play overhyped mediocre games. It had great graphics, an interesting story, and pretty good gameplay. The crazy thing is I probably would have missed out on this game too, if it weren't for a recommendation by a guy at a game store.
The game sucks. I own the game, and while I beat 2 of the campaigns. I couldn't bring myself to play the rest. The game is just straight up boring. Resident Evil 5 is better. I don't care that the game doesn't have a ton of horror, but at least make the game fun to play.
Naw MGS V was a great game. My only complaints was that there wasn't enough cutscenes and the story was mediocre and like you said the cassettes. The gameplay and the graphics were top-notch though. The weapons and gadgets selection was also top notch. I loved the old MGS games, and I liked that Kojima decided to switch it up with MGS V.
As for "An empty open world"......What do you expect, IT'S AFGHANISTAN, not New York City, and this is MGS, not GTA.
The consumer is losing faith in Microsoft. We don't know which direction they're headed and people don't like uncertainty. If Microsoft was more clear in their vision for the future, then people would be more apt to purchase their console.
This sucks. I played Wolf Among Us a while ago. I'd much rather have Minecraft Story Mode or Tales from the Borderlands.
Right. I have both a 720p TV and a 1080p TV, so I really don't care.
I honestly don't blame him. I'm thinking about selling my Xbox One and buying a PS4 with the money and then building a gaming PC. It looks likes Microsoft is abandoning the Xbox, kinda of like how Sony abandoned the PS Vita. Seems Microsoft only cares about Money and they don't care about gamers.
@MasterCornholio
They didn't formally announce it, but industry insiders say they think one is coming. It was on most major gaming sites this past week.
I guess you missed where they said Forza was coming to PC.
I kinda have to agree with Abash. Backwards compatibility support for Xbox One has been lackluster so far. It's taking them forever to release games and when they do finally release them they often times have framerate issues. Most of the titles we want we still haven't received and it seems like most of the titles we do get are Xbox Arcade games. Some of you guys are MS fanboys to a fault and can't admit when Microsoft is dropping the ball.
I think people were mad more at Microsoft then at Remedy. Xbox One Gamers were esp. sensitive after the whole Rise of the Tomb Raider debacle, where it was billed as an Xbox One exclusive only to find out that it was coming out on PC a month later. So when Quantam Break was announced for PC, gamers were mad because that was also supposed to be an XB1 exclusive, and the fact that Microsoft sold it as such to build the hype around the game is a shady business practice, because it's essentia...
It's really the 5th installment if you include Judgment which was a prequel.
One of the reasons Sony is so successful is because their exclusives tend to stay exclusive(excluding PS Vita). Microsoft wonders why they are losing to Sony and then they go and shoot themselves in the foot by doing something like this. There is a reason the international community chooses Sony instead of Microsoft but for some reason Microsoft can't seem to understand why.
I don't think it's a good idea to allow most of your exclusives to go to PC. Would Sony have sold as many PS4s if all their exclusives went to PC? Would Nintendo have sold millions of Wiis if Mario was on PC? A lot of people were mad when Xbox 360 started losing some of it's exclusives last gen and that is why most gamers went PS4 this gen. Now that it's happening again, I think Microsoft is gonna lose even more gamers to Sony.
It's probably still a great game. I mean Wolfenstein:The New Order had a 79 on Metacritic and most people who played that game loved it. MetaCritic is not the end all be all.
