Well I've been playing video games for over 20 years and I can say Killzone 2 is, for me, head and shoulders above every other shooter. I'm not too taken with motion control up to now. The Wii's controls never grabbed me even though I wanted to like them and the PS Eye games where you wave your arms and move your body about, like Trials Of Topoq, just dont do anything for me at all. I see lots of people still trying to convince themselves that paying for XBL is worth it. If you look around you'll see more and more people are waking up to the realisation that XBL isn't worth the money. Yes it's a good service with good features but paying to play online just because of cross game chat and party support and 'oh it's so easy to join a game with my buddies' is bull and lets be honest thats about all XBL offers you for your money. So the bundle includes a game and a Bluray so what is their point exactly ? The headline made it sound like people just wanted a Bluray player when in fact people obviously want to take advantage of the PS3's game/movie capabilities with a one package deal.
I too am still to be convinced by motion control games, got a Wii wanted to like it but it just didn't do it for me I'm afraid. Give me a controller any day and as for Milo, talking to a character in a game just does not sound right to me at all. Each to their own I suppose
BluRay is the only way to watch HD movies for me, I would much rather buy or rent the disc than pay to stream or download HD movies over the web.
Developers are the ones who would love a one console future, but I just can't see it happening and I certainly hope it doesn't because the constant race to one up the competion is what drives innovation and helps to develop better products. That said as the power and abilities of consoles has improved the expectations of people seem to increase at an even faster rate.
I dont believe for one second that this wont be released on PC. This is probally a cute way of trying to get 360/pc owners to buy the 360 version. My guess it will release on PC 6 months after 360.

The reason for the higher price is simply that Activision expect it to sell by the bucket load, pure and simple. If the demand is percieved to be there then the price goes up and companies sit back and reap the profits without having to do anything extra. And if anyone thinks that a higher price will mean extra content in the game and no downloadable content to pay for then they are living in a dream world.
