Then why the hell has the thing only got a standard DVD drive if that was the vision, and don't tell me because of digital downloads cos it ain't got a hard drive built in either. I'm sorry but there is no way you market a console as multimedia machine when it's not equipped to do the job, indeed if you think back when the PS3 launched it was getting slated because it was indeed a true multimedia device. The reality is Microsoft are trying to fool people into believing that the XBL subscripti...
So the XBL's main use is no longer for gaming then ????
Just played through the demo and it's absolutely brilliant. It may be the E3 demo that I've seen before but playing it makes you realise just how good the graphics and gameplay actually are, not for the squeamish though. Day one buy for me.
should be banned from ever owning a virtual pet ever again. Why didn't he just give FizGig to someone with a bigger TV so he could have lived his live as Sony intended.
some people have enough rational thought to realise that Natal wont actually improve gaming, thats right people who think for themselves rather than think what their made to think. Just to let you know technological advancements dont always achieve improvements in enjoyment, now you try saying it EN-JOY-MENT remember that, it's what we play video games for. Just to humour you a little and go along with your juicer analogy, the smaller boxes 'junior juice' didn't actually enhance the juice its...
boy are in for a dissapointment.
Your right Eye of Judgement was pretty crap and so was Trials of Topoq and Creature Feature too, now have you any idea why ??? thats right because motion controls aint fun. Playing games without a controller in your hands isn't going to be enjoyable for more than about 20 minutes. Oh thats right devs talking up how much Natal will bring to gaming hmmm could the reason be that devs can produce games for a fraction of the cost of current top selling titles and sit back to reap the rewards, or i...
If controller free gaming is the future then I think I'll stick in the past thank you very much. Hope you peeps enjoy what will be nothing more than a short lived fad before gaming carries on with innovations that actually enhance the gaming experience. I have yet to hear one suggestion to make me think that something like Natal would make my gaming experience better, the way Natal will probally be used most is in a game using a standard controller but with Natal 'controlled' elements along t...
is to think that because more people own Halo then the guys and gals playing Warhawk feel a bit sad and dejected, I mean everyone thinks about how many more people own Halo as they are dogfighting and engaging in tank battles or climbing towers for better sniping positions. Often when I'm in a 32 player online battle I think 'if only another 9 million people owned this game my 32 player battle would be so much better'. Yep poor little Warhawk players you jump online looking for a 16 v 16 game...
Great game, got it day one and still play it today, but what a great shame this game hasn't sold two or three times that amount. Certainly the most underated game of this generation.
ApocalyPS3 needs his medication again.
LOL, have a bubble
You say you are the only one being logical, then go on to type a load of hypothetical what 'ifs', oh and by the way "you cannot PROOF" should have read 'you cannot PROVE'. Lets try and keep some grammatical accuracy here if you want to try and sound intelligent.
I think Microsoft work on the principal that what you say becomes fact, Ahh well keep telling everyone all is well as the gates to your castle are getting beaten down.
I too liked the use of the motion control when sniping, it's been one of the few really good uses of the sixaxis. As for the feel of the controls for me they were spot on I really wouldn't want to see them changed in Killzone 3 and more boss battles no thanks, the couple that were in there worked fine but wouldn't want to see many more.
I too much prefered RFoM to Resistance 2 but it's hard to actually pin point why, it just didn't have the same feel as the first game some how. That said I did enjoy the single player game but online it just didn't hook me, only took a couple of months before I stopped playing it. Certainly wouldn't label it a failure though. Was it a great game no, but a good game yes.
Still like to see some actual numbers
That this only at Amazon and they dont actually give out any numbers. Double of a little dont amount to a lot now does it.
One thing is for certain though and that is I'm sure as hell looking forward to Killzone 3, guess we'll just have to wait and see about the 'wands'.
Is the most fun I've had in a shooter ever, you may not have enjoyed the game and that's fine, but come on now, to say 'nobody can deny the boring gameplay' is a little churlish. That game is the most immersive, intense and gratifying experience I have had on a console to date, the game is spectacular both in gameplay, level design, enemy AI, graphics and the best use of the six axis to date.
