This has nothing to do with all digital. They are just going to stop selling it online. They do the same thing for physical games.
You will still be able to download the game if you previously purchased it.
@dacajun, That wasn't a legit answer to the question I asked. I asked nothing about the devs or their right to do what they want. I asked how it personally affects you. You have no answer.
@hungry, that has to be an all time terrible analogy.
It is hilarious that he is even calling PUBG quality in the first place. More issues than a Bethesda fame and last gen graphics.
You all act like this was some big conference. It was a freaking web demo with several announcements.
Bring on the down votes, but no one will bring a legit answer.
Just curious, if they added an easy mode... how would that make you pay?
You know how desperate Xbox fans are when they have to start referencing the value of Microsoft overall.
Wow were you the author of this article. Just complete nonsense when you type.
Almost as bad as a first party title that was in development for years by a million dollar company and having the cloud power of 36 Xbox systems... then you just crap all over yourself with another dud.
Based on EA's history and Anthem's short history, I really just don't believe you. Why would the community blow up about the patch if it was actually good? It doesn't make any sense.
PSNow has WAY WAY more games. PSNow has WAY more DOWNLOADBLE games.
PSNow has more quality games.
Now the only argument you have is Gamepass gets some titles quicker. It's true. Mostly terrible first party games that were complete duds. A couple hit games, that's it.
Eh, not impressed at all.
If you guys want to talk about value of games on consoles, PS Plus is the best value in gaming.
Even PSNow is better than Gamepass.
A year of PSnow and Plus is $160 standard price. Only $40 more than a year of Gamepass and you get a shit ton more of games.
I don't think Google took the world by storm. Revolutionary? It is the same thing as Playstation Now, but on more devices. Unlimited money doesn't guarantee anything. Google has like 9 failed ventures for every successful one. Unlimited resources hasn't stopped Microsoft from crapping out this gen.
Those things that don't exist yet are better in every way?
Sorry but sometimes you just have to give people the hard truth.
It is a slippery slope type of thing towards getting rid of consoles. Then that means all digital, which a lot of people do not want.
When you're the 1 out of 10 who defends the game... you just have to admit that you're the one who has a different opinion. Which is fine to have, but don't try to say everyone else is wrong.
You admit yourself the "base game" is still $60.
Buying the higher tier version is just the same as buying the "base game" and then buying "dlc" later.
So, yes, games are still $60 and then you can buy more crap to make them more profit.
Cheaper console is cheaper. If you never use physical, why wouldn't you want this?
@FunAndGun
Well that is easily remedied by having additional trophies based on the difficulty, which most games (with difficulties) do. You can even have your platinum tied to it. So, that argument isn't very good.
