That doesn't really answer my questions. The petition isn't even asking Blizzard to create their own servers. It is only asking that they allow legacy servers to exist.
People apparently forget that Blizzard is a company. Why would they allow some other people to use their game and steal potentially 800,000 users from them?
What reason does Blizzard have to believe if they actually released their own vanilla server, that it would be worthwhile. There are only 150,000 actively playing on Nostalrius for free. How many would sign up for a non-free Blizzard version? Probably no where near the 150,000.
We'll find out in a week how old this is. The leak was terrible, I can't imagine that is how it will be.

I really don't understand those against an easier mode. You know you could still play it on hard mode and get the exact same game. So, why do you care? If it is easy for another player, why do you care? You should all be completely against summoning as well, since that makes it easier.
