You have no clue how the economy works. You know what inflation is?
That's already been proven untrue. You can buy it again.
Not defending the game, but this stat is a joke and the conclusion (or at least the title of the article) is ridiculous.
Comparing number of current users on release day vs 2 weeks after release? Of course everyone is going to be playing the game at the same time on the day of release. NMS set a steam record for that. Now it has leveled out.
That dropping 90% doesn't mean 90% of the owners aren't playing it anymore.
@joe
This is a gaming site. When I'm talking about VR being a fad, I'm talking about in regards to gaming. I already said that it very well may lead to better technology.
Where's the evidence that I'm in the minority? Because PSVR sold out quick? That proves nothing especially when there aren't any figures to go with it. Tell me why Oculus was a colossal failure if everyone craves VR so much?
And like I already said, a fad is something that people want and crave and think is going to be excellent... but eventually it will die out. 3D movies is a great example and I think VR is going to be the same. It was supposed to be the ...
There's no xbox s with 5 games 1tb madden bundle for $299.
How does this prove it is not a fad? A fad is something that has great success at first and maybe even for some years.... but then it goes away.
@utalkin
PS4 has been the cheaper console? X1 has been $50-100 cheaper for like 2 years now.
@Film First month sales don't prove anything. I'll wait until they can do it each month.
Wtf?
I'm just curious how you think Sony is crushing this generation in sales if you think they don't care about the customer?
What a bunch of malarky.
You can't buy them right now because no one is selling it and it isn't official. Once it becomes official, he can buy 10 of them. Since he already confirmed his trade-in for £304, he can ship the ones he bought. As long as they give you like 30 days to ship back the console you sold to them... it should work right?
Also, don't take this so seriously... cause I was just busting his balls.
Pre-orders are fine, but either don't pick it up (or don't open it) until you read the reviews/discussions.
Then go on their site and "sell" 10 of them. Then buy 10 of them for your £199 price, ship them back to CEX for quite a profit.
Because it's a budget console. 500GB is more than enough for a casual gamer.
A price increase is anti-consumer? Thanks Captain Obvious.
PC only at this time, not Mac (they are evaluating that).
In UK only and we haven't been given a single clue how many sales it was.
Why do articles keep talking about numerous Neo leaks. There was the one big leak and that was about it.
