Sony doesn't block mods. It blocks mods that don't fall within their criteria. Get it? Bethesda is being lazy about it.

Pokemon Uranium and Another Metroid 2 have nothing to do with Fair Use. They are in no way a transformative use which I guess the author is offering as an excuse. Transformative use is using something in a new and unexpected way. Neither of those games fall into that.
Sony already said devs can't charge for 4k patches.
Should devs be expected to update their old games? No.
Most of the other games are much older, so seeing a price drop isn't that big of news. Madden 17 is really the only other major recent game that got a good discount.

Microsoft basically just admitted themselves that people may hold off on buying an Xbox until the Scorpio is released. So, the Sony fans weren't saying anything differently. Yes, they exaggerating the demise.... but fanboys will be fanboys.
While emulators may not be illegal.... Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft may just be trying to be respectful to each other and to devs because everyone knows most of the ROMs used are being used illegally.

Hoffman just because a studio makes one good game.... doesn't make them some great studio. Grinding Gear games has 1 title since they were founded in 2006. I don't think you can call them a top 25 studio. There probably are 25 better studios and you left out some pretty obvious ones.

Sorry, but there is a difference. HDR affects gaming. UHD BD has nothing to do with gaming.
So HDR, which 95% of people never heard of, is going to be the talk of the town for the next year.
It costs $300 to get a standalone UHD player, so don't act like it isn't a selling point advantage.
