It sounds like Bethesda did give into the mod size limit requirement. That is why the article says that no external assets can be used, which is what would have caused the size issue if some mods tried to do that.
Just a guess.
Possibly, but more than doubling their subs sounds too good to be true.
Article has already been updated with Blizzard denying this and saying they never gave any sub numbers to that magazine.
If you want to wait and see, then live with waiting 90 days for the extra content.
You can also pre-order a physical copy, don't open it until you see reviews. Return if needed.
Derek stop blaming Sony for costing you $300. They never said it would have a UHD BR player. So, if you bought a 4K TV thinking it would.... that's your dumb decision.
I said the exact same thing above. No one understands BluRay more than Sony. They helped create it, they had the top selling BR player (PS3), they are in the movies business, they are in the TV business. It is clear to me that they don't think UHD BR is going to be something big. If they thought it was, they would have included it to help push the format.
What is the point of the PS4 Slim? Same thing as PS1, PS2, PS3 slim versions... a console refresh that is cheaper to manufacture. Sony has never added features in their slim versions.
What is the purpose of the Pro? Let's say, for only $50 more than a X1S you will have a system more than 4 times as powerful. You will get much better graphics and a lot of games will be able to hit 60 fps.... which is what gamers have been asking for this whole generation. They gave ...
John why else wouldn't they include it if it wasn't cost? It is common sense. They have said they believe streaming is the future.
Keep embarrassing yourself saying that Sony dropped the Pro because they were scared. Sony had their plans in motion before Scorpio was even leaked. If anything, Microsoft are the ones who got scared and announced their console more than 18 months before it would be released. No one has ever done that before, why did they? Don't tell me it was for the devs, because if it was, it didn't have to be a huge spectacle at E3.
@john
What info do you want sources for?
Derek no one knew these mid-gen upgrades were coming. You had no reason to believe there was going to be a PS4 that supported UHD BR.
Nothing is stopping you from enjoying your 4K. You will have 4K games and 4K streaming. If you want UHD BR, you can get that when you want. Prices will drop soon most likely like always.
What does the site have to do with anything? They interviewed Keighley who has nothing to do with PSLS.
It isn't as simple as a game being good or bad. If they grossly misrepresented things, they could be in trouble. If they advertised X,Y,Z being in the game and they aren't, they could be in trouble.
Neo info leaked before Scorpio, so you can throw your little rush theory out the window.
Sony has from the beginning of this generation said they were all about gaming. Microsoft tried to push that TV bullcrap from the beginning and it got them nothing. Sony knows more than anyone how many people are into UHD BR considering they are part of that task force, they sell TVs and they have their own movie studio.
Also if you already have an XBS to play on y...
There is no frustration from the community, stop saying that.
I will defend it, because I agree with them. Physical movies sales have been on the decline for years now. I've never bought a physical movie disc (DVD, BluRay, UHD) in the past 15 years. I've used Netflix forever, I got DVDs in the mail from them. When they started offering a streaming plan, I switched to that. I've had it forever since. I've been an Amazon Prime customer for many years.
...
90% of the people complaining about it are Xbox fan boys. And 90% of those fan boys don't even have any plans to buy any UHD discs
No one believes you beat Tyson in 7 tries.
You got so much money you own 90% of the free games offered on both systems... and you're complaining about $60 a year?
Not even close.
This isn't something that applies to just that industry. Federal law says most people have to be paid extra for excess work over 40 hours. There are exemptions to that though, one being anyone whose salary is more than $100k which surely applies to Henning.
If you're exempt from that.... if you don't like your job, get a new one. If you're good enough to work at ND, you're probably good enough to get a job somewhere else that is less stressful.
