Already clarified by Bungie. Game is not free.

There's no way to download or purchase for free.
What stupid speculation. Clearly the Taken King version will now be the standard version as it has been in stores.
What does it matter who sets the price? Even with all the promised features, I don't feel it should have been $60. People were saying that before it even released.
Ya, but that doesn't explain the $60 price tag.
"weighs up rumors"? You mean complete random guessing and I wish articles like these would get denied.
Making a comment doesn't mean you care.
It's on fire mostly everyone is making fun of the post because who really cares? OP is trying to get technical with legal terms for whatever reason.
@rico You're not talking optimization. You're talking about just building a more powerful machine, which everyone knows you can do with a PC.
Optimization means you'll get more out of the same specs. Consoles will make better use of 5 TF than Nvidia or AMD pc cards. Nvidia will get more out of 5 TF than AMD will.
I certainly wouldn't rule out the support rep giving wrong information. Any company in the world you can call about something and get different answers from different people.
That policy didn't exist. You can re-buy the game.
Consoles are much more optimized, so you can get more out of 6TF on a console compared to a PC.
If X1 can hit 1080p (and yes it can for some games) right now with 1.3TF, then it should be able to hit 4K with 6TF. It is more than 5 times as powerful.
@nix A negative opinion of the game is not equivalent to a user reporting a bug. So, please try again.
And you've never used it to logon via the website? I'm sure you have and you probably got it stolen that way.
I thought so at first, but it really isn't misleading. Engadget specifically asked how they close the gap and Greenberg answered. The title nor the premise ever said that Microsoft is already closing the gap, but how to go about it.
"Q: I was in [a company's] briefing last week, and they said by the end of the year you'd sell 29 million Xbox Ones, versus 52 million PlayStation 4s. Obviously those are estimates, but the gap is there. How do you close that ...
If the game sold a million copies, 1% of that is 10,000. So, "hundreds of people complaining" is less than 1% right?
Sorry, but how is that proof that more than 1% of NMS players reported issues?
Man you guys on here are all-knowing calling him a liar. Please show us your facts to prove him a liar? What? You can't? You can point to a thousand people complaining online? 1000 out of maybe I'm guessing well over a million in sales considering it was the biggest Steam launch this year and the biggest PS4 launch.
Most people who have issues, probably aren't reporting them through official means. I personally had an issue where the game wasn't saving...
@ra3v3r. Yes consoles games have bugs, but please don't act like it is anything like PC.
What in the world? Is it April 1st?
